In recent years most managers who won it had won it before.
  • 2010 Mourinho wins it (2004 won his first)
  • 2011 Guardiola wins it (had won it 2009 and as a player 1992)
  • 2013 Jupp Heynkes wins it (had won it 1998)
  • 2014 Ancelotti (2003&2007)
  • 2016-2018 Zidane (he had won it 2002)
So if its not Zidane then it should be someone who has won it. Although i also think team isnt good enough. Can and Bentancur wont start for a CL winner side. Bonucci keeps falling on his ass.

Yes but those managers were then appointed by their clubs to win it cause they had proved they can.

How many years we wait till Allegri has?

Actually ship has sailed already. Ronaldo and Chiellini will be 35 next year.

Juve have a set play problem

Juventus have reason to be concerned, because six of the last seven goals conceded in all competition were from set plays.
The 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this evening came from a corner and a free kick that were not cleared effectively.
However, these are simply the latest in a long line of problems the Bianconeri have had on dead ball situations.
In fact, six of the last seven goals conceded in all competition have been from set plays.
On the other hand, Juventus are yet to score from a free kick this season in 34 matches.

Messi hasnt even got passed QF after 2015.
Watch Lyon knock Barca out. 1-1 will be enough. Barca are in a huge mess actually. Suarez hasnt scored in CL like 3 years i heard. Buy has been farts or alcoholics like Vidal and Kevin Prince Boateng or what ever his name was.

I think we might see a new winner this season. All big teams have issues. Psg looked impressive. Man city are in it. Atletico just did us. Big teams keep drawing each other and you have those other sides in semis.

I talked about this a while back

It's funny because last year Dybala and Pjanic were scoring them for fun and playing a game to see who could score the most.

I think Athletico have a really big chance of winning it this year they are my favourites if they get last us.

This is not the first time he makes CL games/ties overly difficult with his pussy tactics (i.e. CL final against Barcelona).

Even if we turn the tie around (which is not that unlikely. Our team can score 3 goals past any team when we really try), I would like to get Zidane :tuttosport:

Today is the wrong day to be whining about free kicks as Ronaldo was unlucky not to score one with a brilliant effort and he set up another chance for berna which he should of scored and pjanic has taken lots of free kicks this year and they have been ever bit as bad as Ronaldos ones.

I think we need his sense of calm and ability to allow the players to play

I love Max but this was the year I think to really change our identity and become a team that plays our game regardless of the opponent

Since Ronaldo arrived it’s been non-stop that we will win the CL or are the favorites. How anyone can watch us the last two months and still think that is beyond me.

I wish our club would stop responding to those types of questions.

I feel like we need some of that arrogance though, in the league we can be down 2-0 and still the players believe they can win it
While the quality is different we need to not go into our shell, we play scared
