I´ve defended Allegri but we all saw that he got it wrong in this game. No shame in admitting that. BUT it was quite clear we missed players like Costa and Cuadrado. We had no pace on the flanks whatsoever, and with Cancelo on the bench we couldn´t get around their fullbacks enough. In hindsight we should´ve started Cancelo further up the pitch and dropped Dybala, but it´s easy to be smart after the game. Let´s not give up as a fan base, we still have the home leg and I personally believe we can turn it around.

If that doesn't happen I fully understand those who want to remove Allegri even though I feel he deserves to finish his contract and stay until the end of next season and give it another go. I remember when we used to get battered by Inter, Roma and Napoli pro-calciopoli, I don't take our domestic dominance for granted for one second.

The one thing i have against Alegri tonight is that he didnt sub Mandzukic. It was obvious that we couldnt put in crosses in the box so he had to make a move and put in Berna for Mario at the start of the second half. I dont remember Mandzukic touching the ball more than 4 times.

300 mill worth of attackers tonight and after tonight I'm even more convinced that allegri doesn't have a single attacking pattern that he coaches the team. For the first time even I'm starting to wonder that time is up for allegri, he can be a genius at times but a complete fucking retard at others and unfortunately tonight was the latter. It sickens to me think that Valladolid yes Valladolid ffs fucking smashed 2 past those dirty cunts this season, whilst we never even looked like scoring at all tonight.

If i wanted to set up Juve in the worst possible way against Atletico, I'd do what Allegri did. Keep the ball and pass it around, but do absolutely nothing going forward and keep calm in defense and wait for Bonucci to fuck up. But under no circumstances do not try to score an away goal intil the last 5mins when we are 2-0 down.

Allegri is a great manager but maybe we need a change next year. Not that anyone elae will likely win the CL with this squad.

Cheers to upcoming three months of narrow Serie A victories.

Allegri is gone this summer for sure. There is nothing to top up the Ronaldo signing, unless we somehow sign Messi? Its over for this guy, either he or Ronaldo will leave and its clear it will be Allegri.

You're giving Valladolid too much credit. Atletico were pumped up for this, simeone wanted his team to play with their balls tonight and so they did. Seriously I think conte would have done a better job against atletico even though he wouldn't have got far either. I'll just count down to the seasons over because CL is an obsession and not a goal ( for atletico).

it's not a question of motivation, if it was then if anything WE should have been equally motivated if not more so given this 'obsession' with the CL

If there was ever a season when atletico looked at their weakest defensively under simeone it was this season, yet we looked so clueless once again going forward which add weight to my argument that allegri has no attacking plan for our forwards, its a - go out there and do something on the ball plan

There is absolutely zero balance in midfield, if there was ever a time we could have done with marchisio or Vidal it was tonight, another great fuck up from the management on that

Having the best RB in the world and playing facking dicuntio instead.

It's facking unbelievable. I'm fuming right now. How stupid a coach can be. It's like benching Messi and play with papo gomes instead.
Seriously the goals came one in the middle of defense and the other was on a mess of the whole situation blaming desciglio is ridiculous. Cancelo wouldn't have done better

Agree with the attack. However, motivation plays a part, because it showed when we were 2-0 down and started to try to do something even though as you said we didn't know how to. I think Atletico are obsessed in playing the final at home. That itself is huge for them, maybe not as much as it was for us in 2014.
