Gratz on reward. I hope European coach of the year is to follow. This Juve is far from perfect, in fact I often think about other coaches, possible replacements if he were to leave at the end of season. But I cant see anyone capable of that level of consistency. He has inredible win ratio, most of the time his subs have positive effect on our game, his ability to control the game, or adapt to opponent and exploit their weakness, flexibility and creating a system based on players, etc... all that and more makes him very hard to replace.

Seems like he learned the lesson. Told players to stay up and press the shit out of milan back line, and think what happened? They couldn't come anywhere near our box.

They're a tired, injured team, and even Kessie and Higuain were half-fit. Plus that defense conceded in every game bar only one. It was common sense to press them.

I think personally Allegri was smart in saying he’d like to stay longer in charge. Takes off the pressure in the week in week out talks regarding his future. Zizou and Marcelo will be with us next season.

I’m not sure if I rate Zidane as highly as others. The squad he had at Real Madrid was ridiculous, and yet he finished 20 points behind Barca in the league in 2017/18. Allegri would never blow the league like that.

But obviously his record in the CL is impeccable.

That was a great achievement indeed, but there is quite a big difference in quality between Real Madrid’s midfield and our midfield.

Also, Real Madrid get calls in the Champions League which we don’t get. Zizou wouldn’t get that benefit here. That Vazquez penalty is never a penalty for Juve.

There is also a big difference between competing against Barcelona and other La Liga teams and competing against Napoli and shittier Serie A teams.

Not trying to downplay Max's achievements as it's hard to tell which is the best coach between him and Zidane but context is needed to make a comparison.

I believe Juve would be punished more in La Liga due to our complacent behavior after taking the lead.
