Allegri has to be the most love-hate coach I've ever experienced at Juve, I don't like that for 60% of the season team plays underwhelming footie, I don't like his questionable taste in footballers and I truly hate that he has a bunch incompetent butchers in his staff, but man I love his crazy lopsided formations with half the team out of position, game changing substitutions and winning attitude. I hope he doesn't leave and gets his chance in a fresh, young Juve as he's clearly one of the top coaches in the world, but I guess I won't cry either if he goes elsewhere

This year, I think it hurt our solidity at the back. Too many different 4 man combinations at the back, and too frequently (yes, in part because of a rash of injuries again
), didn't really allow for any sort of continuity for our defenders playing together. It's no coincidence that our best run of form was defensively was in that 4 month stretch prior to the Real Madrid matches, when Benatia-Chiellini played together the vast majority of matches. They developed a great understanding and partnership, and we conceded 4 goals in around 25 matches.

You can tell he absolutely loves tinkering. He's constantly adjusting formations, shifting players here and there, fielding new line-ups and combinations, changing our style, etc. Most years it allows him to eventually get the team into a very good place down the stretch run.
