Just explaining Allegri's rationale.
I was referring to your idea of replacing Higuain with Dybala. How do you know it would work? It's just your assumption. Palermo, where Dybala used to play as 9 (I suppose, I did not watch too many of his games there), had much more space upfront because they were not dominating opponents as Juve do. Consequently, Dybala had the chance to roam at defenders instead of playing in line with them as Higuain usually does. If Pipa moves back he lures defenders with him so that Dybala has some open space upfront to burst into (second goal away against Tottenham). As Allegri said many tmes, Dybala has more to his game than just to be a striker. He should try to imitate Messi style who could be a striker if he wanted to but Barcelona decided to buy Suarez and play him upfront. In that setup Messi operates on the whole oppenent's half having kind of a free role. I know Dybala is no Messi but he's neither a better striker than Higuain. I'm yet to see him scoring a header and what would he do if he had a shooting opportunity on his right leg? Whereas Higuain can finish with both his feet equally.

Allegri is a very good coach. But winning the same thing every year is gona bore him and lose his motivation. The only way to excite him is the prospect of a much exciting squad to manage, and increasing the chance of winning ECL.

If marotta plays his game right, which he hasn't recently, below will give allegri a season long hard on and finally come right into the ECL trophy while holding it above his head.

------------------------schnezny------------------
Valencia-------chiellini----benatia-----ASandro
------------Vidal-------Pjanic-------pogba--------
DCosta------------higuain--------------Bernie/dyb

But, our recent transfers have been shit.
So below is probably next seasons line up

---------------------buffon---------------------
MDS-------chie----------bena--------darmian
-------------bentancur----pjanic-------------
Dcosta------------dybala------------bernie
----------------------hig---------

Why people here are so pessimistic about Inzaghi? You should compare Inzaghi with Allegri at 2014 not this Allegri who has the best Squad in Italy and one of the best squads in Europe. Before coming to Juve Allgeri was placed on Ebay for 1 Euro and he was sacked for humiliation against teams such as Sassuolo! But here at Juve a strong squad plus a powerful management was availabe to him and he used these facilities to improve himself and the team. So why you think Inzaghi will fail to use these features? I think Inzaghi and his Lazio is far better than Allegri at 4 years ago.

Why not Simeone?

Can’t deny his experience against the two best teams so I think he knows better than anyone how to do well against big teams given having to compete with RM and Barca on the field AND mercato

I think most people just plainly don't like Simeone. And I get that. It's not easy to like him. But his results are impressive. I like the idea.

Most people don't like Juve. He would certainly fit the bill to be a Juve coach but we don't always go after non italian tacticians.

by the way, i was a bit surprised to see 3 replies from u lol

Dont get me wrong, he has done a really good job in Europe otherwise, but that approach in Liverpool was just some of the worst coaching I ever seen.
yeah, was really naive to think the same approach as with barcelona would work on Liverpool as well, especially having the wingbacks leave the flanks so wide open. but the guy is still young, so can only learn from this (i hope so atleast, unless he went to the same coaching school as our boy Antonio). i expect him to set the team up much better for the return leg and give Pool hell, so even if they go out that it wont be without a fight
