Who was Lippi before joining juve? We get carried away with big names as do many clubs but names like s.inzaghi could work out well. Zidane has an amazing team to work with so would be keen to know what he could do without ronaldo scoring miracle goals. Deschamps is a personal fav. Mancini can fuk himself. Carrera who really knows.

Allegri is a star coach...but i think we need change amd id rather we kept our best players and bring in someone to restart the system.

I like Inzaghi but I don't know what he does differently to build a team with Higuain/Dybala.

I bet he goes back to 3-5-2 honestly.

I dont think he will. In an ideal world sandro will stay and we will buy a quality right back. With costa bernardeschi and even cuadrado with a possible return of pjaca we have a lot of wingers to choose from with only one being able to take a whole wing.

I truly believe allegri does not get the best out of higgy and dybala. With rumours of mandzukic leaving it leaves an opp for the club to find a long term replacement for higgy. Morata for example.

The reality is over the years we have managed to have individual seasons where we had the best midfield going around and then the best defense. Right now our biggest asset is the group we have for that final third and someone needs to come in and make it smash every club in serie A and in europe. Yes we need additions in midfield and potentially defense if we lose the likes of sandro. But all in all we need something new and that just isnt players.

It is a shame allegri didnt win one of the cl finals. He would have been put in the basket as lippi if he had done so.

I don’t care how much Dai hates him, Klopp would be a fantastic coach for Juve.

He gets the most out of the players he has (which aren’t all that great apart from Salah). He was very successful at Dortmund with a shoestring budget.

If Allegri left and I could chose any manager, he would be my #1 choice.

Why should we try to replace Higuain if Mandzukic is leaving.

Let's be honest, in the CL, Liverpool have had the easiest run to the semis imaginable. It won't be a great achievement unless they actually win the CL.
Their league form has been atrocious throughout Klopp's reign, simply not good enough for a club like Juve.
However, Max can certainly learn from his fearless attitude. An uninhibited Juve with more freedom for Dybala and Costa would be unstoppable.

Exactly. And I like the ruthless mentality to not settle for a 1 or 2-0 victory. I like to see my team just put more and more behind the opponent, it create confidence for the attacking players as well.

I've said this on other juventus fan site, scoring goals is a very important psychological vitamin for more than half of the outfield players in the team, I remember reading a machisio interview at which he stated that scoring goals bring him joy.

Enjoyment tend to bring the best from people when doing activities, so now when our players play in such ways that they are struggling to get enjoyment, and then exacerbated by the hard training regime, then of course the players are prone to mental collapse and instability, of course players easily prone to defensive siege mentality and unable to think their way out of pressure.

Players like higuain and dybala suffers the worst from this outdated frustrating style, they have wc potentials but the team plays in ways that strip them out from the ease of scoring goals and only add the pressure to their mental.

Playing great attacking football > scoring goals > joys > confidence.

And then also the money factor, undeniable fact is cattenaccio doesn't bring money.

If Max was a defensive coach, we would have advanced vs. Madrid.

I still to this day don't know how someone watches us play with 2 strikers walking around up front and call us defensive. Right off the bat with 2 strikers, you are not defensive. When both strikers do nothing in defense, you are definitely not defensive.

There are too many gaps in current team and it would be easy solution if Allegri was to blame. Rather than buying top class RB, central defender, midfielder that can play in both ways, etc... we didnt buy well in the past few years. Lets see what we can do this summer. For me this season is a failure unless we win title, which seems extremely difficult looking at our schedule.

Against Real Madrid and Napoli at home, the two most important games of the season, he decided to play like a scared chicken? And two times you get screwed in your ass. Over the seasons he did ok in Serie A ( winning the tittles) and in the CL he did good with two finals. But it's time for another coach in my opinion and maybe Max should join a team abroad.

And in Serie A they are not playing offensive attractive football. Against Napoli it was awful, playing at home like an scared chicken against a team with a smaller squad and a budget way below Juve

But aren't results what matter for us to evaluate a manager?

What if a manager has one game plan, but that game plan gets him very good results. Surely he should get credit for the results he got, despite any apparent weaknesses that he may have?

Klopp plays in one way, but that way has been enough for him to beat some very good managers, and get results that have made him legendary for B.Dortmund and soon for Pool as well.

Would he be a better manager if he was able to be more tactically flexible, and read games better? Of course, but has he been achieving results above and beyond what is expected of him? IMO that is unarguable.

The guy reached a CL final last season FFS, not 5 years ago, last season.

I really don't understand how managers are evaluated over here, its like you are only as good as last weeks result. I cannot fathom how anyone can say Allegri hasn't done a fantastic job at Juve. Sure he is expected to win Serie A every season, but look at his results in the CL, he's had better results than teams that have much better squads and bigger budgets like Barcelona and Bayern. Allow him to buy superstars, and guarantee that he doesn't have to sell important stars every season, and then blame him for not winning the CL. Until then, its extremely unfair for anyone to say he has done anything short of a fantastic job.

It's not about his past results. Ofcourse everyone is grateful to the job he's done here but maybe he's at the end of the line and not able to motivate the players or himself anymore so it would be better to move on I guess. As I've said , staying 4 years at the same club these days will feel like an eternity. 3 seasons is usually the limit when you're at a top club nowadays.
