It's not about doing what's best for the team but what's best for today

This sort of experience can really make a player grow and get used to the big stage but Allegri is too cautious

D. Costa was not getting much game time early on in the season because Allegri didn't want him to make mistakes and take any risks so was still playing Mandzukic there

Why are people overthinking this? We played very, very well and only lost because of individual defensive mistakes. No midfield in the world would have stopped 1st and 2nd goals. Stupid blunders that no tactic or system could've stopped.

Khedira and Bentancur were great in both phases, they defended well, cut out passes and delivered them in good positions for Dybala and Costa to exploit their defense which they didn't.

Absolute BULLSHIT, and I'm a huge Conte fan, but Conte showed he was a chump in CL who gives up even before games begin, while 3 of the last 4 seasons with Allegri in CL has shown he is absolutely a top coach who can get almost the maximum out of his squad in highest level.


While Conte grinds for league but cant find next gear in his reportoire to get more from his team in CL, he frankly prefered to cry about not being good enough while going out in mediocre fashion. While Allegri's fault is what, not being good enough to beat Real Madrid and Barca in final? Well yeah, thats because they have better players and teams then us. Simple, its just a fact.



Conte never looked like a coach that could adjust tactically to opponent of that caliber to give them headache let alont beat them as Allegri has done in playoff knockout games (outside the 2 finals). But its only so much you can adjust or tactically prepare yourself for until just better players then yours prevail. Cristiano Ronaldo fvcked us, not Tottenham, but best player ever in CL level.



So no, I heavily disagree with Allegri being the one leaving behind a mess in CL (what truly matters for us, since Allegri shown he has league on auto pilot too, in even more statistically consistent way), when Conte is really the one doing that. Yep, I like Rugani, but its not a scandal Barzagli starts over him, even if I would rather take the chance on Rugani instead, the job of fully convincing your coach to start is on Rugani, and I'm not convinced he would do much vs Cristiano, even if I rather gamble on starting him for sure over Barza atleast, but when it comes to Benatia, he is better then Rugani and it has nothing to do with age.



Varane is bad comparison, because he is better then all our CBs except Chiellini.
