That's a realistic idea that I actually wouldn't mind. Hopefully he'll be able to convince some of their players to come too.

Maybe in seire A, but i dont like how we play. Weird fixations with players like khedira, mandz and barzagli. The team doesnt know how to attack as a group. Weird mentality. Low possesion.

One last thing.... if the twerking and twitching on the mercatos has been damaging him so much... why he doesnt step up and have a word with the guys responsible for it? I prefer him to face them and get fired than to continue being Beppes yesman. Marotta for sure has a lot of blame in this constant weakening of the squad since 2015, agnelli and even elkann too. I believe that with this squad this is our maximum performance level, I doubt a different coach would make us preform at a higher level, If max gets more players than we will see better results. no point changing coach if we are gonna continue not spending. We wont go any further

I agree that he needs to start playing the younger guys, the time has come

I think the team is suffering from lack of competition in serie a. Weekly we play against the Udineses and Sassuolos who simply dont pressure us.

Now we go to CL and see our weaknesses. Some say here we played well. But that is not what matters. Its 90 game against european elites who dont sit back and who take their chances.

It is a big difference and our team doesnt look as good in CL. Against Tottenham our experience won us that game. We didnt play well but took our chances. One can argue Real did same to us tonight as some here say we played well.

Benatia and Pjanic not playing also didnt help.

We also have to add ruthlessness to our team. Look Real took on weakened Juve without Benatia and Pjanic and ageing defence must be said. They didnt come here and just pat our backs like u guys are legends to hang out. They came here and took the opportunity as we werent at our best and didnt play our XI and killed the tie. Its possible the game would have ended different if Ben and Pjan played. But that just also shows the best dont show mercy.

If Real had Ramos and i dont know Kroos out we would maybe have punished them same way.

If the club has ambition then stick with the key players and add quality without selling. Although i think with our defense decline we already missed our opportunity. Sure we can replace Buffon and Barza quite easily actually with sze and Rugani or Caldara but there has been too much respect for old guard and new faces starting regular need time to be regular also.

Midfield needs addition. Sign a top mid. And spend big on quality RB.

Hahahaha it's hilarious that people think that a change of coach would win us ECL.
Honestly, every single top club (except r Madrid and Barca) in the world right now is and will complain about their own coach just like us. The reason is because with Ronaldo and messi still playing at this level, no other clubs is going to win the ECL. Quit complaining.

I agree with marotta that the ECL should not be an obsession for now. We need to grow our talent and our system. Make it more lethal and precise. Aim to be like Man City. And when the day come for ronaldo and messi to retire, we will be ready to take over the ECL.

We were caught sleeping early on (no excuses there obviously), but it's not as if that lead to us dropping our heads. We tried to fight back & improved throughout the rest of the first half. Sure, Real's quality still showed, but we were playing along. At halftime this game was not over, despite conceding an early goal against a team like Madrid.
We started the 2nd half quite good as well. I thought we were the better team, but then another inexplicable error ocurred & a minute later we're down to 10. Obviously our heads dropped at that point.

For me the end result does not reflect what happened on the pitch.

that's the problem for me, we shouldn't give up even if it was a one off game, not to mention a two legged tie. when it was 2:0 we should've showed our strong character and values with or without Dybala, but instead we played a disinterested half an hour and were very lucky to concede only once, this easily could've ended 5:0 or 6:0.

you lose games and it's normal against opposition that is objectively stronger, but yesterday we also lost our pride just like in Cardiff and that is not normal unless you're Arsenal

I 100% think Allegri had his tactics right today. In the end the result came about due to some poor final decisions by individual players and a few mistakes which proved way too costly for players of the supreme caliber of Ronaldo to capitalize on. Its that simple.

On the one hand we can say that the result was harsh but also lets not forget that Real Madrid hit the crossbar twice and Ronaldo missed an easy chance.

Overall, Real just have too much quality when it counts and too much experience at this level. To be fair, Zidane knows how to use Ronaldo best at this stage in his career too.

The difference between being a good champions league team and a great one comes down to a few individuals, some luck and concentration, experience & self belief.
