There's a reason 23 year old Bernadeschi only cost 40mil. World class 23 year old attackers cost 60mil plus. Perhaps he shall develop into a world class player, but he certainly isn't one yet, and cannot walk into our starting XI. Allegri's done a perfect job thus far slowly introducing him. He'll likely play around 1200-1500 minutes this season. His first at Juve with huge competition for spots. That's perfect for a player who hasn't set the world on fire when he has played.

With regards to Rugani, what utter shit people on this forum are posting. As a 21 year old at Juve behind Bonucci, Chiello, Barza, he played 1493 minutes with 14 starts. As a 22 year old behind those 3 plus Benatia, he played 1558 minutes with 18 starts. This year, as a 23 year old, with 4 months left in the season he has already played 1190 minutes with 13 starts. He's on pace for 1800-2000 minutes. And that's after struggling early in the season.

People act like he's getting under a thousand minutes a season, making rare appearances, Allegri confining him to the bench in 9 out 10 matches. Allegri ruining his development, and other such nonsense. He's playing lots and getting a ton of game time to prove himself. He's 23 years old and there is no rush at all to have him playing 3000+ minutes a season seeing as we still have Chiellini and Benatia with several years left at top level, and Barza even playing very well lately.

Rugani's minutes have gone up every year. He's fine. He doesn't need to leave or be sold. His development hasn't been stunted. If he's good enough, he'll eventually replace our starters as he gains experience year by year, and enters his prime. If he isn't good enough to be a starter, he'll stay as rotation, or be sold. Simple.

There is a huge gulf in quality between Pjaca and Ronaldo.

There is no gap in quality between Bernardeschi and say, Mandzukic. The only reason to why one of them plays every game and the other is rotting on the bench is because apparently 24 is way too young to be a professional footballer.

It will be February by our next game and Bernardeschi has played 656 minutes. That’s Sturaro level game time. Dybala and Cuadrado are both injured and he still cannot get off the bench.

What grinds my gears about this Bernardeschi situation is that whenever he has played, he’s looked good. Berna has started only 4 league games for us this season, and in 3 of them he was arguably our best player. He is on the bench because Allegri is a pragmatic coward.

Last season Berna scored 14 goals for Fiorentina. He is celebrating his 24th birthday in a few weeks. He is not some youngster like Kean, he is an established top player in Serie A who is rotting on the bench.

He is rotting on the bench for who? Not world class players like Messi or Neymar. He is on the bench for Higuain-Mandzukic, those two must play every single game together until the end of time because apparently that is necessary.

Short crisp passing, excellent movement on and off the ball and lovely one touch football, often leading to excellent goalscoring chances in every game. It's not as if they send a gazillion crosses every game, hoping that one of them miraculously finds the back of the net. Conte and Mourinho are also superior because they give youngsters a chance. Do you really think Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez would find a spot in this team?
As far as defending is concerned, Allegri is really overrated. Allegri has the nerve to rely on our defenders to win games for us, while managers like Klopp Wenger and Pep give their defenders complete freedom to roam around the pitch and not to worry too much about making mistakes. I think it was our good mate Vialli who claimed that goals from penalties or set pieces count less. And so do goals which are seen as “individual brilliance” and don’t involve intricate teamwork. Every goal should be scored with every single player on the team passing the ball to each other at least twice in the build-up.

This is something that has been apparent throughout Jose's tenure so far but there surely has to be an answer for it. We look clueless everytime we need to get back into a game and it's a well known fact that Mourinho doesn't coach attacking patterns. Eden Hazard alluded to this last season and there are teams with inferior players than us but have better cohesive units in attack. Tottenham last night looked like a team out there but we were a bunch of strangers with no understanding whatsoever. Obviously Sanchez is still getting used to the team but his transition would've been a lot smoother if the team is well coached from an attacking perspective. A team with the attacking talent and depth of Sanchez, Lukaku, Pogba, Martial, Lingard, Rashford, Mata should not struggle so much to create chances and score goals. We are relying too much on moments of individual brilliance and this hurts us in situations where we need to think instinctively and make decisions on the pitch. The question is do we have any short term fix or does Jose bring in an attacking coach to help him? Or maybe he isn't the man to get the best out of these players? I'd start off by saying we need to pick a formation and best 11 and stick with it to build an understanding between players.
