I rather have Conte's approach if that means keeping Vidal and Bonucci. Especially Vidal. No one asked to leave during Conte era. There were almsot no sign of trouble, whenever there was it was kept in the house and not on the pitch or the media.

What's really obvious is that we never managed to replace Vidal and our midfield is still hurting from that sale.

Because he's an easier-going personality than Conte you mean? That's the thing with nicer guys, people think they can push back a little harder, then they find they can't because there are rules in place. Then they sulk. Then they get over it, because they are supposed to be adults.

Little spats happen all the time at clubs, as does players being grumpy about not playing. Players get over it. I prefer the inclusive environment Allegri has created.
