after him saying he stays, GdS come up with him calling Juve and telling them give me 8m per year and top players or I go to PSG. Juve would turn to Sousa. :diculo:
Arsenal extended Wenger, if PSG does the same then hes running out of options. We should wait and then lowball him to take 3M a year...

:stupid:

Needs to go back to the diamond. Don't know whats possessed him to think two man midfields are the way to go.
His formation change was the catalyst for our brilliant season. Despite the disappointment of the final we can't lose sight of what we did.

We are currently, IMO, the second best team in the world along with Bayern. We've had the bad luck of facing the two strongest teams in the two recent finals we have played. We really believed we could do it this year, rightfully, so it hurts more.

We need to keep this core and improve on it.

we also had a hell of a season with the diamond, sadly didn't have the attackers to make it work completely. Our midfield though was very strong and would have never let Madrid do us like that. I'd stick my head out and say that our 14/15 team would've fared better than what we witnessed. Of course we had a great season, we need to make changes to have a better one.

our 2015 team would have done better this final, i think the same. i also think our current team would have done better vs that Barcelona team in the 2015 final. anyone else other than Barcelona in 2015 and we would have won, same this time with Real. but thats our luck i guess

Depth dint make the difference last night though. Mentality did.
Of course it did. It allowed their best players like Ronaldo get much needed rest to be fresh for big games while we were continuing to play with 4 forwards even against the Crotone's and the Pescara's

Our two man mid can't compete with that Real mid that's for sure

Yes. Absolutely.

There is a pact between Juventus and Massimiliano Allegri to sign the renewal until 2020 by Wednesday, but according to a report in La Stampa this morning are two problems to solve before reaching the agreement. The first is linked to the assignment: Allegri wants to earn as much as their top players, about 8 million Euros per season, but defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid could reshuffle the cards in negotiations.

The second is related to the reinforcements. The Juventus coach who would like to purchase at least two other samples to continue to storm to Europe. In recent years has seen key players like Pogba, Vidal and Tevez depart while other international big teams buy big without giving their top players. Only once an agreement on these two points are reached, will come the conclusion, on this point is not obvious as you might think first of Cardiff.

I hope he wins on the 2nd point (salary talk don't matter to me) , it's about time we improve by adding and not just replace. Allegri has for too long been ignored on what he asks for in players.

Now is the time, no longer selling his best to improve other positions. Add to what we have. Too many times has Allegri gotten a target or two but missed on a key third and had to settle, he reached great heights despite that, its time to return that favor.

Allegri has done nothing but excellent work for us.

It's just a shame so many players lost focus and underperformed for the biggest match of our season.

The management has to address our poor creativity and final third play as well as a top box to box CM.

Lemina, Asamoah and Sturaro should all be moved on as well as they are not Juve material

Exactly. Second half was all fatigue caused by lack of depth. People seem to think that fatigue translates to players not being able to run. But that is the extreme. There is a huge space between great form and not being able to run and that space is filled up with split seconds delay in arrival on the ball, inaccuracies in passing and wrong choices. Those lose you games. It's not a coincidence that it was the 2nd half of the final game of the season. We need to have a bench that is worthy of the team. We are lucky we did not suffer further injury setbacks in the last couple of months, but playing our best players game in game out takes its toll.

Thats not our luck, we can only face whats infront of us and both times we lost vs the best, no fuss no muss.

We lost one coach partly because of a lack of players that he was looking for. We got extremely lucky that Allegri was available. THe board cannot afford to do this again. We won't be so lucky next time.

3 straight doubles, 2 CL final appearances in 3 years. Arguably the 2nd best team in the world. Give the man what he needs to be successful. End of discussion. If Exor needs to throw some capital in there, so be it. I'm no accountant, but I can be pretty sure that this club is far ahead of the FFP curve that we can actually splurge for once without selling anyone.

I've been told we aren't a top team.

New papers suggest he wants 2 starters each from a CL team. We have the money. Use it wisely.
