yes but a coach knows that he is only temporary. His signings are going to be more motivated towards his own immediate needs while someone like Marotta is going to be more interested in long term success of the team

I can definitely understand why a club wouldn't want to give full control over to a coach

What kind of coach wouldn't want control of his first team, specially after proving their worth. Give Allegri what he wants.

Also the arsenal job is fucking great, would turn him into a legend after a wuick prem title and he can manage if ranieri can with leicester

Arsenal are a disaster. Legions of fans who chronically overrate their team and expect unrealistic success, players who care more about their hairstyle than the team and a board content to continually achieve mediocre goals so long as they remain popular and keep raking in the money. It would be nightmare for a coach of Allegri's abilities who has much better opportunities than fucking Arsenal. The only thing they can offer him is a big paycheck.

Allegri is a man in demand. We know we have a top man in charge. Pay him what he deserves. Sick of swapping managers ever few seasons.

So is allegri when it comes to coaching.




lets keep it like that. Give him a raise. Leave transfers to the two men who completed a transformation nobody else would have remotely managed.

I don't think giving Allegri full authority on transfers is such a good idea, he probably was the one behind Pirlo's exit from Milan with his physical midfield obsession and we all know how that ended. next thing we know he pushes Marchisio or Chiellini towards Inter :p
