I don't think giving Allegri full authority on transfers is such a good idea, he probably was the one behind Pirlo's exit from Milan with his physical midfield obsession and we all know how that ended. next thing we know he pushes Marchisio or Chiellini towards Inter :p

paratici & bepps are doing a good job at transfers. there are some fuckups like letting vidal go without proper replacement, not getting verratti, paying any money for nanes, but on the long run, our squad got stronger. our midfield is a bit messy now, they could work on that by considering allegri's input, but giving allegri full responsibility might backfire.

What about the squad upgrade?
considering Arsenal barely spent anything past few years and the management will want to give their new coach a nice little push for a good start, to please the fans also for selling Sanchez, i can see him having a 200M budget this summer. Belotti, Milinkovic-Savic and Manolas will make for a squad upgrade even Milan can dream off

:agree: We should sign Beppe as coach instead

Ex player- legend. They will most likely go for one of Phillip cocu or Ronald de Boer.

The ex legend is now leaving and there is Allegri who has been tearing it up in Europe with the same team Conte had. And look how Conte is turning out for Chelsea. Let's not fool ourselves, Allegri is a hot candidate

He can win the treble and they'd probably fire him for not having 70% possession. I don't think Allegri's football 'philosophy' matches theirs.

He most certainly did. Both Sarri and Spalletti are better, apparently. :lol2:
Sarri is a question mark as he is a very good manager but is also proved this at Napoli - He didnt really prove this anywhere else yet..
Spalletti has been in places so I can say he isnt a bad manager, but I am not convinced he should be the one to replace Allegri should he leave..
Spalletti didnt become a bad manager because they lost to Lyon - Roma arent a perfect team and are clearly inferior to Juve so 2nd place for them is actually getting the best result they can get while in EL-Italian clubs usually fall sooner or later and it is no shame losing to Lyon who arent a bad team...

Sarri - He lost to Real Madrid and tried to attack Real but Napoli`s problem is that they dont have the players to take pressure from teams like Real Madrid and thats why they lost both legs...
Sarri do deserve praise though as being competitive in Serie A with a team that isnt really as good as their result show + controlling their CL group (even if their group wasnt really a hard one) is something that deserves praise!
He has no real forward but Milik and he re-invented Mertens as a forward and he became their answer for losing Higuain...
So yes neither Sarri and Spalleti are going to win a trophy this season but its because
A. Serie A is over before it even started as taking a scudetto from us is impossible without something special to happen (maybe next year if we change manager and the team takes time to adjust)...
B. CL - Seriously can you really blame them for not winning it while Juve didnt win it as well?!
C. CI - This is their place to steal a trophy even though its quite unlikely to happen here as well - Roma might lost to Lazio but they might recover to face us in the final while Napoli will probably go home after the next game - 2 games it will be very hard to eliminate us so blaming Sarri shouldnt happen but praising should if he succeed in eliminating Juve...
Roma have the best chance as they will face us for a one game final and in one game it is possible to have a bad day... (we both need to qualify first.. especially Roma though...)

So are Spalletti and Sarri better than Allegri - I must say Allegri was convincing with Milan (except for his last season) and convinced here with Juve (maybe this year isnt his best but lets wait to the end of the season...)
Spalletti had success and failures with clubs - In a history comparison Id say Allegri is better, tactics wise Id say Allegri is better, motivating the team Id say Allegri is better - Overall Allegri wins
Sarri - History Sarri has only Napoli as a team that he can be judged on so I`d say he has done the maximum possible with them but still its not enough for comparison, Tactics wise - Allegri has shown himself to be able to change tactics and make it work so its a point to him while Sarri is a one tactic person from what I saw while its a tactic that usually works so why should he change?! Hard to judge but Id give it to Allegri for variety.. Motivating - motivating Juve have been easier from the arrival of Conte who did amazing work on Juve`s mentality.
Allegri should take credit for the amazing comeback from last year (Serie A), Sarri`s ability to motivate Napoli to 2nd place last season and now fighting for 2nd with Roma is amazing IMO as Napoli in terms of players arent as good as Roma and Inter who are behind in the table!
Hamsik is WC while Diawara is ok and Allan is good but nothing special while Callejon isnt really as good as Sarri makes him look like and dont let me start about Mertens who has been a backup and suddenly he is mister scoring hat tricks and 4 goals a game..
In defence Albiol isnt special Reina is a great GK and Koulibaly is excellent
So Reina Koulibaly and Hamsik are the only really great players Napoli have...
