You rate Ranieri who managed to make both us and Inter underperform? It's just another instance of overreacting to a single season. Ranieri won at LC and sucked at pretty much all the big teams he coached.

Ideal: Ancelotti. He has experience, winning mentality and knows how to manage teams playing european level football. He is way more experience that the first time he was here and is a multiple CL winner. Sadly i think he said dont remember when,,,that he doesnt have god memories of Juve and is not dying to come here.

Good: Simeone. he has pedigree and seems to know how to get the best of what he has at his disposal. The downside is that he plays heavy catenaccio, but it doesnt mean he cant adapt to our team and needs. Downside: he is interbound most likely, and i would really be surprised if he comes here.

Interesting options:...i would think about Di Francesco, as i like his proposal of football...but he has a big downside which is inexperience and Juventus will ask him to deliver the CL with a star studded team most likely. Heavy task.
SOusa could be interesting too. Great football philosophy but his downside is that he lacks pedigree to manage a team as big as juve.

The rest of the spalletis and the Sarris etc....please no.

Pep underrating here is unbeliavable. Last year BM against Atlético in the alliance I watched one of the best unlucky performance ever. Worst half Atlético had in three years.

Second half Simeone showed once and again he worthed to be in a team like Juve. Sadly he's ínter in his heart

Sorry inheriting the best team in the league wherever you go is cowardly, he only ever left Barcelona when Mourinho's Real won the league in 2012, and he realised it wouldn't be as easy. Fact is at Bayern he proved that he does not learn from mistakes, which is why he always got humiliated whenever he met a Spanish team in the semis.

He did ok at Juve I think, he was our best manager between 2006 - Pre Conte era, though that is not saying much. Those matches against Real as well, will never be forgotten. Also both Inter and Juve were going through dark periods, I'm pretty sure Ranieri would win the German League if he managed Bayern Munich as well. We will never be able to compare both, because Guardiola always goes for the best team in the league and has never managed an average a lower tier team such as Parma etc.

The underrating of Guardiola on Tuz is funny. He pretty much developed and managed the best team in recent history. Then he went to Bayern and totally dominated the BL, while reaching 3 CL semifinals. Sure he has his limitations, and I am not sure I would want him in Juve, but this is just retarded.

Coincidently a lot of the people calling Guardiola overated and a failure for only winning 3 BL and reaching the semifinal 3 times in a row in the CL, are the same people who calls Allegri the best coach in the world because Juve are leading Seria A with 7 points, despite he has a completly superior squad to the rest of Seria A, similarly to how Bayern are superior to the rest of the BL.

How exactly was Barca the best team when Guardiola inherited them? They finished 3rd in La Liga the season before he took over. And 2nd the season before plus were knocked out Rof16 CL.

You don't have to rate Guardiola as an all-time great, but he is certainly a top coach.

I agree. Wouldnt call Pep overrated, but his defintitely stubborn. Thats probably the biggest weakness he got, and why he often got outclassed while managing Bayern Munich.

He is tactically stubborn and limits himself due to that unflexible approach to things in biggiest games, almost dogmatic (drank his kool-aid too much in latter years, misusing players in positions or becoming too daring and risky in tactics, just to push boundaries and seem revolutionary). But he has had incredibly successful career with his approach for most part and thats why he is pretty much one of the top few best coaches around in his short career. To keep being successful he needs to adapt his approach to different team/league, and its growing experience, if he will stubbornly persist on same path until it sinks or swims, or can tweak it. But to call him a failure after half a season is a joke (not like he is struggling in his 3rd club in a row like Mourinho), and even bigger joke to not ONLY compare him to absolutely nobodies like Spaletti and Sarri, but to say they are better then Pep now

Guardiola is clearly overrated at this point. His teams have never exceeded expectations with the exception of Barca in 2008, maybe.

Bayern got worse when he arrived. He was destroyed in consecutive years by Barca and Madrid. Then lost to Atletico. Could other managers win the BL and then get destroyed in the CL? Yes.

So far at Man City, you have to say he is below expectation as well. Conte has come into the league with the same circumstances and is walking the league. Why? Because he is pragmatic. Guardiola is not. He plays his way and that's it. That's why Bravo is there and now Bravo is unplayable.

Conte just looked at Ranieri's work last year and concluded that any sensible, counter-attacking football would succeed immediately in the EPL. He even changed system a couple times to put his players in the best position possible. Meanwhile, Guardiola is asking fucking Stones and Otamendi to play as isolated CBs, initiating build up with the goalkeeper. Can he not recognize these players are not the same that he had at Barca?

He has an effective playing style in theory and in practice. But not always in practice.

People bashing Pep makes me laugh. He brings in a fresh style of play. But I guess some prefer boring rigid side to side football instead.

I wouldn't mind Pep here as it goes. Just don't understand all the hate.

He would be even greater if he hired an assistant that would be his NFL like defensive coach, just in charge of making sure things tick in D line and arent too risky. Because Pep football is actually good defensively when it comes to attack and midfield, he demands they pressure and are aggressive at all times, but the stubborness became worse with each year when he became more and more bold with approach to the point of ignoring defense line, the estetic dream to play champagne football got in the way of practical tactics when facing bigger opponents.
