Allegri: 'Fans must live every moment'
By Football Italia staff

Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri enthuses about the current campaign, encouraging the fans to 'live every moment'.

The 49-year-old is gunning for a record-breaking sixth consecutive league title, and urged the fans to join him in a 'bursting desire to celebrate' a 'legendary' Scudetto win.

"This is a year for us in which enthusiasm must remain until the end," the Livorno-native told Tuttosport. "When I step on the pitch I must have the number six in my head, not the formation played, but the six consecutive Scudetti we can win.

"The fans at the stadium must have a bursting desire to celebrate a title that would be legendary.

"They must live every moment, every match. It is not a trivial thing to win six titles in a row.

"It was not trivial to win 25 out of 26 games last year. In the summer, I sat down & thought about it, you don't realise it till later on.

"It is also not trivial to win 10 games out of 12, like we have done so far this season.

"It’s these things that football fans should rejoice in from time to time, without taking anything for granted.

"Because all together, we can become legends, in the same way Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls were."

But the team are still winning without playing well. Do they need to aspire to be more like Barcelona?

"Juventus are Juventus, Barcelona are Barcelona and Bayern Munich are Bayern Munich.

"We have to work on our strengths which are tactics and a little bit of craftiness because, without taking anything away from others, we Italians are more awake."

What a horrible record. I fear the worst.

"Juventus are Juventus, Barcelona are Barcelona and Bayern Munich are Bayern Munich."

This is the most correct analysis Allegri has ever made - tactical or otherwise. One of those teams is DEFINITELY not like the others.

In the context of:

(a) being able to win the CL
(b) being a team that your best players don't want to leave for an upgrade every season
(c) having a manager with the required acumen to build a CL-winning team.

We are definitely NOT Barcelona or Bayern Munich. We will be though - when you're gone.

 who is this fool?
Literally people are saying if we buy Allan we'll win the Champions League.

I may or may not be a fool, but if you have reservations about the things I say, I assure you your reservations with others on this forum will be greater still.

I'm just the guy that opened the door and let fresh air blow into a car that has been hot boxing for a week, and I found that the four idiots sitting inside the car have convinced themselves and each other that God lives in the glove compartment, and that the windshield wipers are the arms of Satan.

It's for the best. It'll be temporarily unpleasant for them when the high wears off, but I get a little kick out of dramatically saying "Where Is Your God NOW?" after I remove the wipers from their hinges and put them in the glove compartment.
