We started well, we controlled the game, faught hard to get that goal and then became overconfident and lost focus, Allegri should scream at them louder...
You always bashed our mercato and we would end up having a good season. This year all of a sudden you're full of praise. Got me worried there tbh.

So we played Sandro and Pjanic and lost, I thought that's all you gotta do to win constantly, put more attacking players on
Pjanic out of position, and Sandro did everything for our goal.
But hey, the balance was preserved by not playing Higuain and Cuadrado.

You are missing the point. I am not saying Barca is more dominant in their league than we are in ours. I am saying if we had a quality team in Serie A we wouldn't afford such poor starts. Apart from the mental barrier a club would have when it knows its trailing Barca by 10 points, 91 points in La Liga is much more impressive than in Serie A because of the quality difference. A Barca like club would easily get 91 points in Italy.

We are luck to be alone in Serie A now. It gives us breathing space to work on Europe. Better start using that to close the gap on Bayern.
Barca had a pretty big lead which Madrid almost overturned. Bayern had a 7-8 point lead at halfseason to Dortmund in 2012 and lost the league. its not a common thing but it happens, and if you have 25 wins in 26 games you have good chances of it happening to you. but ofcourse we wouldnt win all 5 of our last titles if we had to compete against a Barcelona or Bayern, that would be too much of a dominance

Didn't Barca lose to newly promoted Alaves a week ago at the Camp Nou? I wonder if their fans meltdown like we do?
Hey, I dont care much about this loss. Still early in the season and Inter isnt too shabby as well. Decent team and might compete for CL places. But I would really like to see best players available to start important games for us. I'm totally against any formation change because of loss in a derby game. Would be silly.

No, but then again they benched like 7 or 8 first team regulars and thought it was vacation time. A whole new back line fucked them that game.

If our solution is simply starting all our best players and tell them to go ham as usual, like it was for Barca, then it would be easy. But I'm afraid this midfield will remain an issue for us, I said so when we won because the signs are there, it's not less worrisome when we draw and lose, results that mean little for long run but are worrisome for long run in terms of what it shows us about our new approach and selection in midfield.

Our solution is hoping that our midfield general who was out injured half a year will be OK and not damaged goods when he comes back.

Wouldn't we all? Allegri has been poor, but we're still starting much better than last season, especially considering the schedule...

If we haven't turned around the disjointed, scattered play by the second CL game, away to Zagreb, then I shall start to worry. Allegri has 10 days to get his shit sorted.

So you're saying we need to put 7 past Cagliari midweek? :p
More like consistent 7s for the next 3 games
It was not just this Inter game.. its the whole story from last year..

CL shit talks.. and then having a team that is playing badly till date and yet alot of CL shit talks and Serie A should be a walk in park for Juve.. well, I think Roma and Napoli are not that bad, maybe they will still in it come March..

You can lose from time to time... but they ahve an identity and heck load of attack to compensate.

Fans will not rage at them because for every lost game..they destroy like 3 teams on the way. You cant always win.

Us is a totally different sotry right now in comparison to barca. We have no idea of what we are doing.

Remember Osman. When counting Higuain's two part payment, we had a nice net profit this mercato, and cover a good part of the next aswel.

We will solve this issue next season if Lemina doesnt step up and Marchisio doesnt return as intended

Pjanic-Lemina-Khedira looked quite good. We just lack midfield depth. Failing to finish the Witsel purchase looks like a big mistake right now. When Marchisio returns, Lemina goes back to being a rotation option, and he is an excellent one at that. The problem is behind that we have Sturaro, Asamoah, Hernanes. Unless Asamoah is just showing rust from all that time off, or Sturaro finally starts to improve and become less one-dimensional... we basically only have 4 midfielders worth talking about which is a problem.

Regardless, I doubt we will challenge for CL unless Marchisio returns to top form. Lemina is far too inexperienced for that. So we pray and hope for Marchisio to return to top form, or Allegri to switch to a 2 man midfield of some sort.
