We probably have a different definition of better. For me the better team is the one that creates more chances over the 210 mins and particularly over the 90 mins, not that team that completes more passes. We had many more clear chances than they did.

Forget the passes. Forget the possession if that doesn't suit you, but I'd be surprised if there were many other facets that we had more on them. Pull out the other stats anyone? Shots, on target, off target, corners, shots in the box out of the box, whatever you consider to be the most telling.

I'd say it was very close.

Sure, Bayern controlled the ball more in both matches but we were bloody brilliant in coming back in the first game and going 2-0 up tonight.

Overall, it's probably the combination of their technical superiority, wider bench and a bit of luck but that's also our fault as fortune favors the brave and ze Germans never, ever give up. Not even when there's 10 seconds left, let alone 2 or 3 minutes.

Don't disagree at all. But to everything you mention here, doesn't it make our elimination all the more acceptable? Heads held high.

Of course that Morata sub fucked us; easy to say in hindsight. However we wouldn't have had a 2-0 lead to throw away in the first place if it wasn't for his excellent tactical improvisation. He set us up perfectly, and made one mistake. Can you really say it's his fault now that we're out if that two goal lead was way beyond anyone's expectations in the first place?

A shattered team tired both mentally after Müller and physically after a charged up hungry Bayern playing at home. What you actually thought we would win it in the extra time. There wouldn't have been any extra time would we have not gone all Chelsea.

People always seem to ignore the luck factor and plays a huge role in football. Sturaro didn't do anything in the first game other than the goal. He was awful in the second, but that doesn't mean Khedira was playing well in the second half.

Allegri didn't have many options. The subs didnt work well, but I get his idea. We were sitting a bit too deep even before the subs. Our players were too tired to press, so allegri put in 2 players to try to correct this. I think the 3rd sub was actually good. Cuadrado was great in the first half, but he was making a lot of mistakes in the 2nd and Pereyra played ok.

Clear cut chances and half chances. This game we had at least 8, maybe 10. They had 1 or 2, other than the goals. And if you really watch the first game again, you'll see they didn't have that many chances, maybe 2, before the first goal and none after the 2nd. We had a couple of chances to make it 3-2.

We weren't and I agree, I don't feel ashamed at all just disappointed as fuck. There I was thinking finally Juve are kicking ass in the CL, we don't even have to win it just knock Vidal & co. out... but reality hit us hard.

i just can't see better coach for this juve. he is the best, and he is learning with this kind of experience. the guy has serious potential to dominant the coaching world. he is young and he is creative coach. and he isn't afraid of taking risks.

His only downside is that he gets complacent at times, otherwise he's good.

Typical result-oriented bullshit. We took our foot off the pedal at 2-0 and still managed 3-4 chances on the break. We played bad and couldnt keep any of the ball after the 60th minute, but I'm not so sure it was a tactical decision by Allegri. We played the extra time the same way we played between the 30th and the 60th minute, only it didnt work. If you could replay the game from the 60th minute with the same tactics 100 times, we would qualify 85 or 90 times. If you replay the game from the 90th minute 100 times, we'd qualify 95 times. Bayern had maybe 1 half chance in the second half before the first goal.
