Pogba has the most freedom of all our players, except maybe Dybala.

You think it's Allegri's instructions that makes Pogba drift wide? No, he decided himself he needs more space when on the ball so he goes wide to find it. The same is with his forward runs when we're trying to break down the opponents defense, we use Pogba's height and strength to keep posession in dangerous areas (kinda like Fellaini does for Utd, but Pogba is a much more talented player). This actually may be Allegri's idea, but you can't say we're only using Pogba as a holding midfielder when it's clear he has permission to roam.

Against Bayern he wasn't as offensive as he didn't have Alex Sandro on the left who overlaps him and creates more space for Pogba to cut inside on his right foot (see his assist to Mandzukic v City).

Allegri was mostly using a modified Zona Mista formation this season, and Pogba is his "Zidane" in this formation:

We are talking about CL not the league. You want to play cuadrado and Sandro at wing in a 3-5-2? How long have u been into this sport and into this team sounds like not long. First of all to play in CHAMPIONS league you need world class wingers with devastating technique you field cuadrado a headless chicken who just runs at wing you leave that wing exposed, he's not able to read the field all it takes is ONE wrong move and you are down 1-0. Sandro is not yet familiar enough with the system which for a winger is extra important and secondly Sandro is still average for a winger in a 3-5-2 against Bayern's and Barca's...asamoah again is OK for playing Palermo this is Bayern man..put the crack pipe down and step away from it.

Why does it automatically mean attacking a better offensive team at home? Press early with pogba as AM means disrupt them getting the ball forward and don't let then set up the attack as easy as they did why do u assume it means pouring men forward? Their DEFENCE sucks donkey nuts, thier attack? Second best in tbr world, now u think we should sit back and invite them to score or press the ball in midfield early and have a go at their crapy defence? If we press and recover a single ball in midfield, they will have to pull back, they can't afford to scatter forward..all we need is 1-0, our defence is good enough to hold em specially with chiellini back...
I still don't understand. You want your wingbacks to be the likes of Bale and Robben?

Not in general, against this opposition and for now yes
I think you are confusing wingers and wingbacks. Wingbacks are like full backs, only with less defensive duties and more attacking ones. Compared to wingers they are really defensive. Bale, Ronaldo, Robben of whoever else you have in mind would be terrible wing backs but are world class wingers. Sandro, Marcelo and Alves are full backs that can play wingbacks because they are very good going forward( by fullbacks' standards not by Wingers').

What world class wingbacks to you have in mind?

Our 352 have one advantage any other teams cannot be fully prepared with : long balls from defenders especially bonucci, we scored quite many times from those balls directly and indirectly; heck we even caught bayern completely off guard once in the 1st half of that match, too bad the ball from bonucci was just a little to high and fast for dybala

This is one of the easiest direct counter against teams with such high pressing and high backline gameplan

“It was wonderful to fight back from 2-0 down against Bayern, but we have to improve certain things to compete in Europe: technique and the speed of our passing. We cannot think of playing only physical games in Europe, as facing sides like Bayern, Real Madrid and Barcelona the ball will be moved at 100 miles per hour.

“The more we control the ball, the better. The hunger to reach a result is within Juventus DNA, so that we don’t need to work on, but Tuesday was an important test to see where we are with a revamped squad and many young players. It showed us where we have to improve.

“Hernanes needed to improve his fitness levels by playing. He did well on Tuesday both technically and working in front of the defence. At the moment this role suits him very well, as he has good feet for short and long passing, so we must make the most of his characteristics.

I really like how he does a good analyse, and just says how it is. What we did wrong, why, and why we got to improve it and sometimes how we will.

No excuses. Just clear vision on the situation. i think thats very important

Allegri: 'I'm happy at Juve'
By Football Italia staff

Juventus Coach Max Allegri shrugged off more questions about his future, as the Chelsea job is replaced by Italy.

The tactician had for many weeks been the hot favourite to take over at Stamford Bridge for next season, but that role now seems to be going to Antonio Conte.

“Once again, nobody knows what I have in mind. So when I heard all this talk of 'Allegri is going to Chelsea,’ it made me smile. Allegri decides,” he said in a Press conference.

“I haven’t even thought about my future, because it is too important to end the season in the right way.

“I am happy at Juventus, we are working to win a fifth consecutive Scudetto, which would make history, to reach the Coppa Italia Final and qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals.

“I was pleased by (Juventus director Beppe) Marotta’s words, because I’ve always said I am happy at Juventus, but this is not the time to talk about contracts.”

If Marotta offers a contract renewal now, would Allegri take it?

“No, I have a training session, then lunch!
I’ve always said I am happy at Juventus, we have a project to revamp the squad and help many new young players grow.”

Allegri was also asked whether he’d be interested in replacing Conte in the Italy job.

“Italy? I am at Juventus, I don’t know why you keep trying to make me leave!
