Can't win them all. Looking forward to the Bayern game so much now :D
Allegri: 'Can't win them all'
By Football Italia staff

Max Allegri concedes “you can’t win all the time” after Juventus saw their 15-round winning streak ended in Bologna.

The leaders saw their club record breaking run come crashing to a halt at the Stadio Dall’Ara, where for the first time in four years they failed to get a single shot on target.

“We started the game well, but tonight Bologna deserve a lot of credit for limiting our performance,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium and Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s disappointing we didn’t win, but we were coming from a run of 15 consecutive victories and Bologna are one of the form teams in Serie A right now. You can’t win all the time in football.

“We should’ve spread the play more and it was one of those games where the deadlock has to be broken by an incident.

“We kept another clean sheet and that is certainly important. Simone Zaza and Alvaro Morata did well, but there weren’t many spaces to play in tonight.”

The setback arrived straight after Juventus had gone top of the table for the first time this season. If Napoli beat Milan on Monday night, the Partenopei will recapture the leadership.

“These lads have been working so hard for three months and a hiccup can happen. Nothing has been decided yet,” continued Allegri.

“Obviously on Monday I’ll be cheering on Milan, but whatever happens then I am sure Juve will be fighting for the Scudetto to the very end.”

The attention now turns to Tuesday’s Champions League Round of 16 against Bayern Munich, above all the injury list.

“Mario Mandzukic is fine, Sami Khedira should return. We also hope that Giorgio Chiellini and Alex Sandro can recover quickly.

“We’ll need to be gritty, focused and realise it will be played over 180 minutes of football.”

Marchisio can play well with or without them, like he has been doing for the last 5 years. You don't know $#@! kamehameha boy.
:howler: he relied on Pirlo, Tevez, Vidal, Pogba to lift last 5 Scudetto. This season he continues to enjoy other effort to lift another one.

Yes because Marchisio has been scoring goals for fun with those players on the field not really his job. Also Marchisio was again our best outfield player if we don't count our defenders. By your logic Allegri also wanted to show the world how bad Pogba is without those aforementioned players on the field just to lower his price tag so it's easier for him to unite with his idol Pep.
Marchisio and score goal can not be put in a same sentence. Pogba helped us out so many times, don't disrespect the legend.

We lost to Parma last year before a CL match. So not too concerned with this result. More concerned about getting players healthy and ready for Tuesday.
yep. we also played a very though game away at palermo where we won with a late goal from Morata. then we went on to trash dortmund 3-0 away. or this season when we were in terrible form yet still beat city away. CL games are different, and this poor performance doesent have to mean anything

this is worse than meltdown
Why? Ranieri's central message to his players is that they have nothing to lose because they already met objectives and its working out very well. We have nothing to lose (technically we can lose an opportunity to achieve more as do Leicester) in the sense that we met CL objectives. We have something to lose in Serie A if we dont win it.

More like they relied on Marchisio (Especially Pirlo, always made up for his fuck ups) to do the dirty work so they could play more freely in attack. But there's point in arguing with you, as you call yourself the anti-marchisio.

Says the Conte die-hard supporter. :howler:
As a fan there are 6 types of outcomes ranked from best to worst.

1) Win + Good performance
2) Win + Poor performance
3) Draw + Good performance
4) Draw + Poor performance
5) Lose + Good performance
6) Lose + Poor performance

Teams like Barca and Bayern can consistently do #1 throughout a season. Juve (be it Conte's or Allegri's) alternate between 1,2 and 4 (for some reason we never draw when we perform well). This season we started with a mix of 6, 4 and 2's before embarking on a run that had a lot of 1s and 2s.

I don't see Allegri's team as more entertaining than Conte's and I don't really care as long as we are winning. I am just worried that its been a couple of games of 2s consecutively and yesterday we had a 4. We need some convincing games again soon hopefully starting with Bayern.

I disagree big time.

Under Conte, especially when we managed to score early, we tended to bore the opponent to death until the final whistle in Serie A. Sure it's effective, but one would rather watch paint dry then our football at that time.
