They try to compensate what they fundamentally lack in their footballing schools, by hoarding international skill and competence in coach and player level. But with zero understanding and patience for the building process to success. Their short sightedness and complete and utter retardation in tactical level is astounding (even main stable team Chelsea is collapsing). Most of you guys mock La Liga, but those guys know their footballing identify and tactics, they just focus on attacking aspect of it and it works splendid for them. EPL has no identity and understanding except brainless running and tackling.

Their mindset reminds me of that comedy Beverly hillbillies. All the money in the world but no know how of what to do with it.

And yet, most people in the world enjoy watching that garbage. Boggles my mind.

It doesnt lack entertainment (though been bad lately, improved a little past weeks), it just lacks consistent quality. If you forego tactics more and more, and change up things too much all the time, you are bound to regress.

It was so much more fun to watch and with better more tactically astute players and managers in their golden years of 2004-2009ish. Since then, it has definitely regressed year after year, even though they've been spending obscene amounts of money.

Allegri: "Chelsea? I'm tied to Juventus until 2017 & I'm happy here, I’ve already said this many times."

Allegri: "I'm proud to be the Coach of a big club like Juventus."

Allegri: "My thoughts at this moment are on Serie A, the Coppa Italia & the Champions League."

He is talking about quality of football (when it was truly the best league), not the Benny Hill show like farce of late. But you know that.

every Italian dreams of working in England and EPL:sergio:
Every professional dreams of working in where they get the most attention and most importantly most money from. Since Spain only has two (or 3 now) bigger teams and very little international exposure compared to England, you will see anyone who cant go to the biggiest spanish duo will prefer to go to the league where the checks are the biggiest and the spotlight is the brightest.

No i know what he's getting it.I ,in my opinion find it more fun to watch the EPL now than before because big teams lose to inferior teams more often than not than previous yrs.Watching Arsenal get smashed by Soton or United owned at home by Norwich gives me utmost pleasure.

Seeing United, Chelsea and Liverpool fail like this is hilarious, but the actual quality of the league as a whole is quite bad. Even the top teams have massive flaws and the tactical awareness of the teams in general is extremely low. I'm just saying that quality wise the league has seen better days.

That kind of pleasure and chuckles dont last for long, you are still there to watch football and the lesser quality it is, the fewer incentments you have for tuning in. This is by far the season I watched the LEAST EPL games by far in past decade. And thats because even tuning into the the big game showdowns results into kinda football thats barely improvement on your typical Milan - Inter mediocre midtable showdown. They have the money to buy quality but not the know how (while in Italy its the reverse, know how footballing wise atleast, because Italy dont have the know how for everything else outside the pitch...), and it just means more bland football for every season that goes by. They defenitely need to stablize themselves with top coaches and sound projects to play interesting enough football again.

Why ? Absolutely no team in the league is consistent. Not even the best like City.I dont see any team winning 3-4 titles in a row like before because its too competitive now.
Also back then, the top 4(United,Chelsea,Liverpool,Arsenal) were immovable. There's far greater chance of different teams making the top 4 or even winning it.
As a football fan, thats ultimately what i want to see.

This is also why i dont watch the BL.Its very predictable.

Besides Bayern's way too strong grip on the league (which has only been the past 4 years, check how many different winners they have previously) I find the on and off field product of the Bundesliga a lot more enticing.

I dont want same team wining every time, but it shouldnt be a choice between predictable and quality and unpredictable and shit. Also likes of Liverpool and Arsenal had no hope for the league title in those post 2006 years but were still fairly quality teams that you could watch and held their own against most. Now not even the so called best team can hold their own against anyone.

Exactly. Arsenal and Liverpool were both nowhere near the title in some of those years, but both were still CL semi-finalists fairly regularly, there overall teams were light-years ahead of their teams today.

And you should change it to clueless self-important röv.

Chelsea would defenitely see Diego Simeone as their first choice, and possibly Pep if he doesnt go to City or such.

The success of Ancelotti, Mancini (barely) and now Ranieri in England should mean they (England) are more interested in italian options more then usual like Conte and Allegri. But its obvious he wouldnt be their first choice even if a clearly sought after one if he was available (since he is better then both Mancini and Ranieri now), which he shouldnt be anyways.

Chelsea has been wanting Simeone for a while (they been signing his players enough times lately, some voices who are hoping he will turn Diego Costa into what he used to be instead of a fat ass...). Pep is simply the go-to desired choice for any of the EPL clubs clubs who will be needing new manager, even if City wins the league they will for example hire him. They are that eager to get him (only interesting destination for me would be Arsenal, that would be surprising compared to the other 2 or 3).

I could care less what a loser like you finds nauseous btw. Keep on trucking with your non-saying self-important oneliners that dont add anything worth shit.
