Gotta say that Pogba and Dybala is the reason we won. Cuadrado was a good sub, but other than that, we looked completely clueless in attack. I'm a bit worried about the Bayern game.
Sometimes that's what happens in football. You play crap all game and score off your one good chance. Today was one of those days. Roma's ultra-defensive display certainly didn't help us, but we still won. I don't see Bayern playing so cautiously.

Allegri has Dybala advice
By Football Italia staff

Max Allegri had praise and criticism for Paulo Dybala after a 1-0 win over Roma. “Juventus must have balance.”

Dybala scored the decisive strike late on for Juve’s 11th consecutive Serie A victory.

“It was a difficult game because Roma closed us down,” Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.

“We did well in the opening 20 minutes, but Dybala and Mario Mandzukic weren’t finishing off the service. Dybala kept going too wide on the right in the first half and wasn’t finding the spaces.

“Of course at the end he did score an extraordinary goal. It’s not easy to get 11 consecutive victories in Serie A, especially after we used up a lot of energy against Lazio in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.”

Juve had such a disastrous start to the campaign, but are now two points off leaders Napoli and four clear of third-placed Inter and Fiorentina.

“The club evaluated the situation, changed a lot of players over the summer and brought in youngsters, so it needed a bit of patience. In the same way, we need balance during this moment of 11 straight wins.

“Napoli are doing exceptionally well, we must try to do even better to catch and leapfrog them.”

It took a long time to break Roma down in a game with few scoring opportunities.

“Roma were defending in a very organised manner. In the opening 20 minutes we didn’t make the most of our quality, then when Radja Nainggolan moved on to Claudio Marchisio’s shoulders, our avenues were blocked.

“We had about 80 per cent of our attacking moves down the right and we didn’t move it around enough.

“I am sad to leave many players on the bench, including Simone Zaza, Alex Sandro and Stefano Sturaro. If we are to go all the way in three competitions, we need everyone.

“The important thing is to maintain this physical and psychological condition.”

Paul Pogba unveiled a new leopard-print hairstyle. Is it something Allegri would like to copy?

“I don’t have enough hair for that. These lads have seven or eight hairdressers who come and go. It’s not like in my day…”

Allegri was asked about rumours he is first choice to take over at Chelsea next season.

“Do I speak English? Yes, a little.”

Of course. My concern is on why he didn't do anything about it. Roma were nowhere near scoring. It reminded me too much of Conte.

Edit - Just realized we're playing Inter in three days.

This is like some Barça fan saying 'Messi is the reason we won yesterday against Malaga'.No shit sherlock, when you have teams putting 10 men behind the ball and closing down all the spaces, you need a bit of individual magic to bail you out. That's what we got today.

I expected him to sub Evra or Licht much earlier, especially since Roma weren't showing any danger of scoring at all.
But let us stop now, since i already wrote that I wasn't aware of the Coppa game in three days.
