This is why were history will prove us right. Cronios has wasted alot of bullshit on us prefering italians, but as we saw recently, there is a very important reason for this.
What juventus needs first, is about a decade of consistantly performing well in europe and trash serie a, becomming the "bayern" of serie a. A team where all domestical players want to go to. As currently there are to few who'd remain with milaneese, roman or napolitans.
Why ?
1) Every big juventus team, was build on a very strong generation of italians, who also formed the backbone of the azzurri's successes. (70ties to 80ties, mid 90ties to mid00's)
2) As long as we arent at the very top of riches and sportive result, we will always run the risk of losing them if they turn out world class potential
3) We'll never be in the first choise buying business outside italy. Competing with madrid, city, psg for a player will never happen
4) Domestic players however, are willing to remain at the very biggest domestic juggernaut. And italians are especially domestically focussed.
And this is the key
We need to remain a competitive solid side. A team that isnt easely to upgrade. Defenders we have a knack in finding good ones, and keeping them is easyer cause they are less likely to be wanted by the top sides.
But when offensive players with talent like a Totti, Baggio, Vieri, Del Piero, Inzaghi appear, and we take them, we'd have actual world class forwards who'd want to remain.
