I know that Kroos is never gonna happen, thats not my point.. As I can see, there are people who rate Oscar more than Kroos.
Thats because Oscar works pretty well for the team, while Kroos is a bit of a primadonna at times.
Lets not kidd ourselves. If we compare the aggression of Vidal or the coverage of Marchisio , then Pogba is also a primadonna.

It depends on the mentality. If Allegri wants Pogba to sprint, he will. Think Fiorentina game, where after wich we scored, he started chasing opponents all over, cause he didnt need to "save himself" anymore.

Kroos will do the same.

Here is a good analysis about the issue at Madrid

Oscar over Kroos is one of the worst thing I ever read on this site.
Its a subjective view in wich they emphias the workrate and forget about the enormous difference in ability

The problem is, they look at the workrate of Kroos at Madrid.

I read worse ofcourse, also Oscar can be a very good player. But the Gulf between him and Kroos is big. Ridiculous blind underrating of the consistent top quality Kroos has been if he is injury free. Oscar in comparison is some jack of all trades that shirks from responsibility, mainly stands out for being good finisher.

Kroos is offcourse superior. But impossible

However, i think Oscar could significantly improve here under Allegri, and also become a player that lifts the team with his presence.

But is Oscar possible ?

Ravel Morrison > Paul Pogba
I'm starting to think this is true... :shifty:

Remember RUS and that thing about caravans moving and dogs barking in the Immobile thread? Too bad the poor little fellow is banned. I'd like to ask him if he still thinks Immobile is world class...

Kroos is great.

Didn't rate him against us last season, thought he was poor in both games. But I ain't gonna write off a player of his undoubted quality. As if we'd ever have a chance to sign him anyway lol.
If I recall he kinda was back and forth from injury at the time, plus Ancelotti overplayed him, same 11 all season long. But most importantly his role in Real is and was too far down, he has regista skills but he is not a DM that should play in front of the defense. Especially with defensive support being another technical wizard in Modric, quite exposed set up. Preferred him in Bayern where he was more of an 8 or 10, added attacking presence.

Casimero should provide that cover

Madrid should play Casimero, Kroos, Modric, behind Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale/Isco/Rodriguez

Much more balanced then "lets play 4 forwards who dont do shit, and behind them 2 midfielders who are preferably creative". Its great against small teams, but barcelona walked over that without remotely having to do efford

Well yaah, kinda always liked Oscar. I can be biased that way you know. Doubt we'll bring him though.
Oscar is underrated around here. He is a very good hardworking AM who could be very good for the team. He is a bit soft though and he wont be the leader of the team but more a player that could
contribute a lot in a team that is functioning well.
