From CL finalist to sitting back and fighting for a draw against mediocre german side...thats Alegri
From drawing Coppenhagen, drawing Galatasaray at home and loosing to Gala away (Group Elimination) and not winning any of the semi final legs Europa League to a team that almost won the CL final last year, and is on the verge of most probably topping the group of death this year.

That's Allegri for you.

You do know that Conte, Prandelli and others would still pick Chiellini and not only Max. He's admired for his aggression but ignored for his mistakes. Don't know why.

Sitting back was the way to play my friend against a team that went all in because a draw isn't in their favor.

Again, no one has answered my question, why risk and attack when the target is qualify and 1 point made the step closer?
I agree that sitting back was the way to go. My point is that we took all our offensive threats out of game. You could still sit back and counter if you leave some of your offensive players on the field and just don't attack in numbers. When you play with 5 defenders, 3 CM and a winger and just kick the ball away instead of trying to counter, the opposition can comfortably play there full backs as wingers and attack in numbers.

Yes, all that is Allegri. Points out his decline very well.
Serie A is even better example.

We are actually doing better in the CL compared to last year :D
I guess we are, just because one main reason...that is Buffon and his saves against shity and gladbach yesterday.

I am not too happy with 10th place so far but with all the changes I didn't expect to be topping the standing either.

The team needs time to accelerate it's not that hard to see it is it? You give Allegri Hernanes, injured Khedira, Manduz who replaced Tevez, a Cuadrado who hasn't played for almost a year, Lemina, Dybala and you want the same performance as last season? Give Allegri better replacements or same to the ones that left "Tevez, Vidal and Pirlo" 3 world class players and not 10 players with one potential world class and the table would be looking healthier.

Again, I would alongside you blame Allegri if Juve doesn't win something but I wouldn't hold him as responsible. The only responsible for all this are the ones handling the transfers. Very simple.

Your point? Ronaldo is Madrid's reason, Messi is Barca's reason, Rooney was/is United's reason, Tevez and Buffon were the reason too last year, what's your point exactly? Maradona was Argentina's reason, I don't get it.

Allegri is delusional, he believes we played a good match.

We can comfort ourselves as much as we want, the fact is Gladbach almost murdered us in the first half, our defence and midfiled were non-existent.

Our coach makes provincial teams look world-class, we're clueless, we let other teams come to us and walk into our penalty area.

We should prepare ourselves for a season without a trophy, there's no doubt about it for me now.
Yes. If this wasnt against a side with just a few semi decent players( which they had none in offence), this game would have ended way before hernias red card. No matter their position and intention of attacking from get go, they were through on almost every move.

Its only personal with people who constantly bring up Conte, and its usually the ones who think Allegri is doing a brilliant job. Most of us have moved on and now are watching a fragile team underperforming in every level, doesnt matter how you wanna suger coat it. 50% or 100% new team, even though we only had two new faces starting yesterday, Third month into the season and you could see the potential in X, Y player has become a theme in most players threads but we have anything but a team for them to grow into let alone the future stars that were supposed to have a break through season in Pogba and Morata.

Completely agree with you. I am more than certain that if Tevez and Vidal would have stayed with us this season, we would be at the top of the table, steamrolling through Serie A, and we would probably have 12 points in UCL group after 4 games. In my opinion Marotta fucked up this season; the team is completely unbalanced, the transfer move that confuses me the most is selling Coman and than loaning in Cuadrado, I mean what the fuck. I don't believe that any coach would have better results than Allegri has now. The only thing that Allegri fucked up is that he started pre-season too soon.

He has 1 arm tied behind his back. Just doesn't have the tools as the team is extremely unbalanced due to Marotta thinking he is Midas where everything he touches turns to gold.

The team should be doing better no doubt about that but the main culprit is Marotta with his stupid transfers of Hernanes and Zaza who are both average and not good enough for Juve.

All Allegri asked for was a quality CAM and he didn't get it.

His best players were sold and not replaced adequately it's as simple as that.

Ironically for a while now Rooney has been one of the reasons United isn't winning not the other way around :D
Yet he's going to go down in history as their highest goalscorer and top 5 appearance maker. Football is funny like that. He's no Charlton, Best, Ronaldo or even Giggs or Scholes when it comes to the best United club players.

“In every division, even the minor ones, Italy has something more,” Lippi told Sky.

“The Coaches are better prepared, and therefore the players and the referees are better prepared.

“Back on the bench? Why not? I don’t change my mind easily, but I’ve realised I made a mistake. I thought that in China I no longer wanted football, but actually I didn’t want to stay away from my country and only go home every five months.

“I watch a lot of games, I still want football, and I could even return to the bench.”
Do it Andrea , Bring Back Lippi :sheik::tuttosport:

I was with you until the topping the group of death thing. We won't do it unless we beat Citeh and they've looked really good, effective, while we have been mediocre and disorganized. I think we can get 3 points or at least draw against Sevilla, but beating City? Playing like this? Putting out lineups with Hernanes in them? Unless a moment of Pogba or Morata magic saves us, I don't think so.
