Exactly. And Agnelli would be as much to blame if he allows such dumbass moves. Hope it's not true, but even the press probably know that Marrotta won't do much better anyway. I think it's all speculation, but if Allegri goes, this is just the type of move Marrotta will pull off given his limited skill set.
If we keep losing pts and cant improve, OFCOURSE he should be fired since he is litterally failing at doing the job. Its a risk, but its up to the board to find a suitable replacement that can make this a team, since there's good material to work with anyways. Hope it doesnt come to that and Allegri doesnt paint himself into a corner of ineptitude as he did with Milan.
Well, certainly Allegri can turn it around. The question is about the players, Pogba for example, and if they are ready to keep on following his ideas.

I don't like burning things down as a solution to a longer-term problem. If Allegri hadn't done what he did last season, even if with largely Conte's club, I'd be a lot more concerned. But swapping him out would be a desperation move appropriate for desperate times.

Allegri has been in fault, but Marotta is the one to point fingers here. He overhauled the squad without any direction, made head scratching last time deals and pulled the team together in the last day of mercato.
Injuries have also been a mess, and that's on the poor preseason planning/physical coaching staff. Don't know if Allegri brought all these guys, I doubt he did.
