What a master coach. Bringing them to 4 place in Serie A, IN A ROW.Wow, what a success!!!.4 -th place and in a row.Marvelous!!!
Well that might be good for the rats but not for us.
You are referring to that game where we lead 2-0 up to 75 minute and conceded 4 goals in 15 minutes.Once in a lifetime. Most weird match in this century.
Apart from that game our statistics are:
-9.02.2013- 2-0 for us,Montella coach,
-9.03.2014--1-0 for us,Montella coach.
And especially this narrow win at Coppa Italia
7.04.2015
away 3-0 win for us,normally Montella coach,as I say at their turf.
Anyway bringing them to a huge success as being at EL semifinal is a prestigious reference for further coaching at ,let's say Lazio,Genoa,Sampdoria,Udinese etc . but not Juve.He simply isn't a Juve material.Like DelNeri/Ranieri ,Zacheroni who, badly for us were never a Juve material coaches and still were here.He is better than them obviously but still not worth for Juve.
first of all I dont recall Conte being our coach in 2015. Second you coveniently forgot the 2 draws we played against eventhough our team was far better better individually.
Ladt but not least you do realise that the statement about him finishing 4 is good for Fiotentina level squad totally contradicts ourself. It means he have done a good job in that situation and given the individual talent and backing of a winning club he could do a fantastic job.

You posted it while I was writing my post so I didn't see it before mine was out.
I do not agree with you that he over-performed at all. Over performing would be getting into the CL with Fiorentina and putting on some performance there. A fourth place finish is exactly whats expected of Fiorentina. Juve cemented the champion position but there were two spots up for grabs. In 2012 it was Napoli and an utterly horrible Milan that bettered fiorentina. In 2013 it was Roma and Napoli and in 2014 it was Roma and Lazio.
Similarly 6th place with Roma is not excellent in any sense. He took over during the season I know but I do not remember anyone seeing him as anything but an interim coach and he was unsurprisingly let go of at the end of their season. He went to Catania which is at best a mid-table team which is not the kind of job you'd get if you've just transformed Roma. I am just not seeing why you are so impressed with him that you dare compare him with a coach of Conte or Allegri's caliber let alone say he is better than them.
When you are a 36 year old coach that only has been training on youth level into then and you take a Roma team that are relegation threatent in february and lead them to 6th place I think thats impressive. Romas new owners then choice to try the Barcelona project instead of keeping him as they deemed he was to inexperienced. As I see it the Fiorentina squad at hes disposal had the ability to finish between 4-7 place and he put them in 7 place everytime White also competing in Europe. So what if they did not have the stand out season where they where second or third. He did not have a season where they totally underperformed either.
I have never said that Montella was or are a better coach than Conte. I said he was a better tactician and I think thats a pretty fair asumption given the fact that the tactical part of coaching is not hes strongsuit whereas hes motivational skills and squad handling are second to non.
I do miss Contes "any given sunday speches, his celebration with the squad and hes screaming of the crowd, but as much as I miss that I just could not stand his tactical rigid 3-5-2 and hid constant bitching and whinning to the media in the end. Thats why I would prefer Montella because he is also a very good young Italian coach and at the same time his an intelligent classy guy who would be a excellent coach and representative for Juve.
