I am among the biggest hater for 3-5-2, even back in Conte days , i even called his head to replace cause his formation was holding us back in Europe. An Allegri is the saviour, he started off with 3-5-2 back earlier last season to enable us to transition slowly to his favourite formation which is a back 4 with midfield varies and we went on to win the league , the copa and the CL finals.
Now today's game , the boss hand is tied. He haven't got Khedira, Marchisio, Asamoah and his TQ in midfield. He comes up against Roma who have a great midfield and what he planned was he needs more bodies in the middle to stifle them up. Yeah he got Pereyra on the bench , but then even if he changed to play a 4-3-1-2 with Pereyra in the hole, there is no way Sturaro and Padoin can hold that midfield. Some ignorants should stop overating Sturaro as better than Vidal, cause he ain't even close to him. Today the boss made a gamble with a very limited cards he had in his hand. Judge him when the couple of players in the midfield comes back, when he can drop Padoin and Sturaro, on the bench. Allegri is no where a fan of 3-5-2 , its just that he hasn't got the option. I mean criticize but try to be objective.

On the decision not to start Morata, come on the guy just came back from injury. And if he feels Alex Sandro and Cuadrado isn't ready , cause they just came in, that's valid as well.
