As more time passes and clubs start their seasons, then the likelyness of us getting the needed players goes down. I cannot understand why Juventus don't give Schalke the money they want(We have it) and call it a day. Then Allegri gets a month to integrate the player into our systems, at this rate, the new signing has missed all our pre-season. Poor from Marotta.

Allegri arrived from nowhere, having a huuuuge task to do - keep winning and replace a club legend and the man who simply rescued Juve from its worst moment in more than 100 years of history, going back to the confidence and self esteem we always had (Conte wasn't the only factor, of course, but he was probably the most important one).
He arrived against the will of the fanbase, with players mentally exhausted from Conte's managament, the pressure to keep winning and the rest of the country cheering against and calling those refereeing bullshits. It wasn't an easy task at all.
Also he arrived with a huge pressure to succeed in Europe and with the winning scheme 352 beaten to death and needing to do a very smooth transition - it's hard to come to club TRICAMPEONE and suddenly change everything. He had to find a fine tune to do it.
And he did just that.
Of course the team is by very far the best of Italy, but the race could've been tight, specially with the pressure and focus on performing on Europe.
He was balanced enough to manage things correctly, and results are there. Even though he should have benched Pirlo against Barca.

I really agree on that. To me the sell was an option (Marotta wasn't forced to do it). It seems to me like it's a bad option and we definitely should've got more money for him. This after spending 18M on the 4th striker is pretty tough, even though the rest of mercato was great.

look at our 2011-12 team, coming from 2 7h places, confidence at an all time low.

Bonucci - he was horrible that season, absolutely awful.
Chiellini - good season, but was coming from 2 horrid years.
LB/WLB - we simply didn't have one.

Vidal - did well, but was still adapting, his breakthrough season was the following.
Pepe - very limited player
Vucinic - talented but irregular as hell
Matri - lel (respect to his strong will though)
Defense was pretty solid, attack was poor in talent if you ask me. That scudetto was won on grinta and will above everything else. Conte was highly responsible for that.
But yes, he did became more and more predictable as time went by. 3rd season Conte was killing me insisting with the robotic 352, and the team was much improved by then.
But that first season - That was Conte, man. With a bit of help from Pirlo and the Stadium.

Honestly, I feel that if we remain with Conte, last season could've been a big disappointment.
The guy was too attached to his own world and believes, he was stagnated.
In Brazil they say "some bad comes for good". Allegri was the best that could have happened to us, now I love the guy - love his balance, humility, and also his awareness - in management and tactical. I'm really impressed with him. He doesn't have that Italian class/arrogance from some of the most successful Italian coaches, but that makes absolutely no difference. Actually it's good to be available to players and treat people just like people, regardless of their position. Kudos to Allegri.

You are very correct, I saw it later, was thinking about our current scheme. Barzagli was the rock that estabilized the horrid defending we had the previous years. My bad.

And Chiellini was most of times the LB when we used the 4-man defence 
On paper the squad is still very good. Its just that they are all new players and apart from Mandzukic they are also young. The guys who left didnt (apart from Tevez) didnt have their best of seasons last year but in terms of their leadership and personality they are HUGE. Allegri has to keep the winning mentality high.

Yesterday I read Allegri wants to use Pereyra as Trequartista in the supercup despite the fact he just came back to training. If Pereyra starts tonight it should only confirm the rumour.
If that's the case Pogba won't be used as AM at all. I guess Allegri will be interested to use Pereyra and Dybala there until we sign an AM. Maybe Coman could get a chance but last season he played more as SS/LWF.
