By last season it was clear. He was just too scared of the CL and ran out of ideas. His noobness as a coach was exposed.

well said.

Yup.

The 3 rivals in front of us are the best fo the best...and the only 3 teams i feared to face because i see them truly superior to us in many aspects...specially in attack, as those teams can score goals for fun on their night.

But liek Vidal said...we should go out there and try our best. I think we can trade blows with madrid. 12 years ago we faced them in the pinnacle of their galactico circus and we did it. Now i find them even more composed than in that time...but we have some interesting weapons too.

The draft will be very interesting, but whatever happens...at least we tasted what it feels to be in the top of european football once again, and for that..im very thankful.

It was clear to me and a few others, yet when the call to get Conte replaced due to his poor tactical performance in Europe, there were a few who felt like we had just committed a heinous murder and called us not grateful and such on.
Now where are those shameless people, you know who you are .

Allegri: 'Tactics dictated by conditions'
By Football Italia staff

“I knew full well this could mean a bad performance, but the objective was to reach the semi-final in these conditions.”
If this is true then I respect him even more. At least he knows that this system does not work in europe. He is admitting that he had to chose this definsive aproach because of the illness.

He simply achieved what was expected of him. Winning the scudetto at ease, qualifying to the coppa final, eliminating Olympiacos, Dortmund and Monaco, nothing spectacular. Let's see if he really is the magician you turned him into, let's see what we can do against Europe's top 3 teams.
If he continues to play with Pirlo at the CL, I can give you a spoiler- it will be ugly. But if we play 4-3-1-2 with Pogba, Marchisio, Pereyra and Vidal, everything is possible.

Over a decade has gone since we were in the semi's last. Try to celebrate.

What a load of crap, we all know Juve's issues in the CL and these are issues that have plagued us since 2006. This is a huge achievement for him and the club.

Remember how we were "expected" to beat Benfica and qualify for the EL final at our home ground? Don't ever take anything for granted

he did all that with Asamoah and Barzagli out for most of the season, an out of form Vidal, Llorente who went AWOL this year and Pogba injured for the past 2 months. managed to refresh Evra, who looked finished, got Bonucci to concentrate, found Marchisio's perfect position, gave Morata confidence despite not being the one who brought him here, unleashed Tevez's potential by giving him freedom up front and also fit Pereyra into our system in such way that now we're solid on counter-attacks too.

I'm sure it might be just a coincidence.

edit: I'm happy with semi-finals, realistically we're still behind Barca, Real and Bayern. but tournament football is not always about the better squad. let's see what happens, you never know in the CL. Berlin is not so far away.

you mean how everyone was saying that Roma will now win the league? Or the fact that no other manager has taken us to the CL semi final for over 12 years?

Couldn't agree more, the squad was also sick this week and he managed to qualify us for the semi-final.

All i'm saying is that he only achieved what he had to, nothing more. If we were eliminated by Olympiacos, Dortmund or even Monaco, or if we didn't win the scudetto, that would have been a disaster- he simply did not fail. Don't turn him into a god yet.
