we could also lose the final and get knocked out... same as Conte then
Nah. Conte didn't get to Coppa final in the year he made CL QFs. We got knocked out by a very mediocre Lazio who finished 7th in the league :sergio:

Conte never had the overall success in a season Allegri is already having this year.

Scudetto+CL QFs+Coppa Final > Scudetto+CL QFs+Coppa Semis.

And Allegri could easily improve on this.

Not really. I mean, both Supercoppa and Coppa aren't that important imo (with Coppa obviously holding a little bit more significance), and there's virtually no difference between Coppa final or semifinal in the long run. And you did conviniently forget about the Supercoppa :p

Before the game I knew Juve would lose or draw. I will comment on the game but everyone will think that I'm trolling.

This is what is called a tactical defeat. Of course a win would be nice. But after already leading the league with 14 points and playing against the worst team in the league Allegri had the chance to both rest most of the squad AND sending a message to Monaco and giving them hope, hence a tactical defeat.

Excellent defeat by Allegri.

Allegri: 'Juve did nothing right'
By Football Italia staff

Max Allegri said Juventus “did nothing and deserved the defeat” against bottom of the table Parma.

The runaway leaders lost only their second Serie A game of the season, 1-0 at the Stadio Tardini.
“I lost my voice almost straight away. We didn’t do anything in the second half and deserved the defeat,” he rasped on Sky Sport Italia.
Were Juve distracted by Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final with Monaco?
“Monaco are another matter. Today we underestimated an important match and didn’t realise it could allow us to secure the Scudetto.
“Now we’ve got head-to-head clashes coming up and this was a perfect opportunity to seal the deal.
“Changes to the line-up are not an excuse. We kept a low tempo and I don’t think we won a single challenge out there. That says it all.
“I hope this can give us a positive shake-up, but we shouldn’t need that. It was the chance to stay 14 points clear of Roma and Lazio, but we weren’t up to it today.
“Parma played well, while we were slow and risked conceding on three or four counter-attacks. We didn’t control the game at all, as even in the first half Parma were dangerous.
“This was the match we had to play with maturity. Even if we couldn’t win it, then we certainly shouldn’t have lost.”

Fair views
