Meh, Vidal was arguably still better than Pereyra defensive-wise.

Don't get me wrong, you can critisise the decision, but calling it desastrous or pathetic is clearly a hyperbole.

The ony pathetic thing were his passes...the rest was ok in his game. Not standard Vidal but OK.

Sometimes I'd like to see more of a 4-3-2-1 where Tevez stays exclusively on the left, focusing on cutting in. He does all his damage from the left IMO. It's useless when he drifts to the right because he can't shoot from there and rarely does he look to pass in any scenario.

Right now our CMs give more width than the strikers. I'd rather Tevez and Pereyra drift wide and open lanes for the CMs to make runs through the middle.

In this case there would also be more of a chance for Coman or Giovinco to sub with Pereyra.

Also, one time I'd like to see:

That wasn't an "OK" Vidal. An OK vidal at least contributes to one of defense or attack. Today, he contributed to neither. His play was counter productive to both. Only good thing he did was connect to two crosses in the box but even those weren't threatening.
