Yes he made a defensive sub but our mentality did not change. We still attacked.

I have to say that this was very surprising for me. Allegri has balls. Our goal started from a turnover we created by pressing. And it was Bonucci who won a tackle deep in Torino's half. It's remarkable that he was up the field that far pressing.

Torino were destroying us.
i dont agree. we needed a defender in there. pirlp DM and evra not doing a confident job back there, down to ten men and throwing bodies fwd to get the win..we needed the defender

pretty sure if he replaced with an attacker and we concede defeat he would b flamed by everyone
Every break Torino had towards the last 15 was dangerous, but taking out your biggest impact player in the last 15mins of a game for a defender is not exactly going for the win. Regardless, Pirlo saved the day. :tuttosport:

Ogbonna for Tevez kinda reminds me of Ranieri's tactical masterpiece De Ceglie for Del Piero.

Deserves a punch in the throat for that Ogbonna sub, Pirlo saved you!

Nigga's please, it was the right sub.

Vidal behind the strikers doesn't work, we should play Pogba there or Pereyra.

Allegri should think about this..
As much as I agree, when Pirlo bangs in late winners and everyone is playing pretty well it is hard to take any out. I think we might see some turnover against Fiorentina though. Maybe.

Made the right call in the end with Tevez substitution. Even if we hadn't win, it would have been the right call because Torino were going for it.

Forza Max!

You're just upset that Allegri just trolled his detractors enormously hard.

For once, what seems like a nonsensical sub on the surface (taking out your best scorer and putting in a second-string defender with a man down, minutes to go, and you need a goal) actually makes more sense in hindsight. The way Torino was counterattacking and breaking things open, and with Pererya put in the wrong role over covering RB, it allowed the team to press forward and build from the back.

Ballzy, stupid, or both, Nucky must have a shit-eating grin in private, because in the end it worked.

Pulled a johan cruyff with that.

"attacking doesnt allways mean taking off defenders. If you have 10 forwards, who'll bring the ball into the box ? Adding a defender but pushing up the play and increasing the pressure on the opponent can be a better strategy if the situation is right"

Wich it was.
