Having the highest payroll in the league is down to Galliani's incompetence rather than Allegri's.

Their squad was obviously inferior to those of Juve, Roma and Napoli's despite having the higher payroll.

When Allegri was given good players he gave good results, when he was handed shit he gave shit results.

Flamini beeing top 5 earners in italy, said more about Galliani then Allegri tbh
I know all about his shortcomings, Galliani, but to dub it a miracle to barely beat likes of Fiorentina for CL spot in the last day, when they have just a fraction of the resources, is an absolute joke.

As I said, amusing to witness this constant need for revisionism.

Welcome back little bro  :D

Yeah my stomach is suddenly getting the nervous ache I used to have in 2010 days...
Just that ere of uncertainty. But that's common with a new coach. Guess we just got used to knowing that we would go in and win. Lets hope it stays the standard.

Allegri had 0 influence on how resources were used. So any mention about resources, can be directed to Galliani.

When we won our first scudetto, Milan arguably had a better team, and were leading all year, untill nearly everyone got injured, and zlatan was playing 3 games per week for months. They even needed the referee to get barcelona past them.

Year later, milan sold everything, What was left was pretty crappy despite el sharaawy having a good first half of the season. Whilst other teams, had better rosters

It's just a matter of time when he will start taking Bilan's deadwood.
Offcourse, because Allegri is used to making demands when it comes to transfers...

My opinion on Allegri is the same

He's nowhere near as bad as is being made out on here, but he's no Conte. He's not got those amazing man management skills but at the same time we should wait to see what he can do with a dream midfield and a team that SHOULD be looking to improve and never pick apart the squad to 'balance the books'

Conte seemed to lack motivation, on the other hand Allegri should be more motivated than he ever has been. He's still relatively young, he could carve out a piece of history for himself OR he could spend the rest of his career as a mid-table journeyman. The stakes are very high for him personally.
