I know all about his shortcomings, Galliani, but to dub it a miracle to barely beat likes of Fiorentina for CL spot in the last day, when they have just a fraction of the resources, is an absolute joke.

As I said, amusing to witness this constant need for revisionism.
What resources have to do with anything if Galiani and Berlusconi decided not to utilize them? It's pretty clear and self explanatory by looking at Milan's roster from the past 2 years and huge dip in quality that occurred, what had made it impossible to challenge for silverware.

My opinion on Allegri is the same

He's nowhere near as bad as is being made out on here, but he's no Conte. He's not got those amazing man management skills but at the same time we should wait to see what he can do with a dream midfield and a team that SHOULD be looking to improve and never pick apart the squad to 'balance the books'

Conte seemed to lack motivation, on the other hand Allegri should be more motivated than he ever has been. He's still relatively young, he could carve out a piece of history for himself OR he could spend the rest of his career as a mid-table journeyman. The stakes are very high for him personally.

We shouldnt forget allegri with a mediocre team, beating barcelona 3-1 at home, and getting plenty of chances to win on away goals in camp nou

I'm not even going to fucking try, its a ridicolous fucking joke to paint Milan as even worse light just to make it seem like some unexpected Miracle Allegri managed to quality MILAN of all clubs to 4th CL spot, in a league filled with poor clubs who should nowhere near be able to compete with a club of Milans stature. Yeah Galliani and Milan are a total joke last years, but its also a joke for having mediocre coach like Allegri coaching them, they werent bad DISPITE is miraclous efforts, are you guys kidding me, he was part of the problem. His tactical limitations was evident, he was riding the coat tails of likes of Ibra for initial good run and did little to nothing to improve them. Even if being mismanaged to top to bottom made it difficult, one of the clearest mismanagement part was still having him around despite continuing to going downhill.

What kind of ambition shows a club that puts in charge a proven failure??
The same club that hired a coach who was a proven failure with two different clubs in Serie A, and whose only claim to fame as a coach was getting 2 clubs promoted?

That club you mean? The same club that hired a man you famously called "selfish" three years ago?

We'll probably look inside Serie A for an AM or WF, maybe Pereyra, Bonaventura, Cerci etc. If we are going to take a chance on someone outside the league then there are plenty of young options, but we don't tend to give responsibility to such players. Unless it's a wonderkid rated like a young Kaka or Pato, but I don't know who is around that fits this label.

Supposing we do have ~€25m for the right player then it's right that we use it on someone (or two) with room for growth. What about Juan Quintero?
Would you spend 25m on Quintero? Why not try to tempt Bayern and Shaqiri? I don't understand why we're not after him when he clearly stated a few times already he wants to play and is open to a switch.

To be honest I don't think we'll spend big money on anyone this summer even if we could afford some good player. I think Agnelli is already looking for a proper coach and Allegri is just a one season gap filler. My bet is we'd save some money for next year when we'll get new TV + shirt sponsors which would be tempting fora new coach. At this point it's all just guessing. I don't think Allegri is good enough and I hope AA realizes this too.

The very fact that Milan's roster should done BETTER then what they did, and the coach's day to day operations is most responsible for that, or you honestly think Milan didnt have enough players to do better then the utter clusterfuck of the last 2 seasons? If we are gonna reason like that, how about we absolve likes of Del Neri of their utter failures too.

May I remind you this started because you guys are trying to say it was a miracle he got 4th CL spot with Milan?????
