Of course. Seedorf was rather arrogant and stubborn but he had fantastic ideas and, unlike so many modern Italian coaches these days, he actually had vision and creativity.

Over half of your posts have been in this thread since June, trolling Juve fans about how bad Allegri is, and laughing at us for hiring him. You even started a thread asking where the Allegri thread had disappeared because you missed trolling it.

You trolled our Pirlo-Aquilani thread in 2011, and called him an over the hill, slow, weak, doesn't care type of $#@! player.

Hey thanks! I mean it's not like P!rlo had been sleep-playing for Milan since 2007 and hadn't scored a fk in 3~4 years. Also he was a pacy customer who was built like a tank so I guess you got me there. The fact that he fell behind Ambrosini in pecking order has absolutely nothing to do with his utterly languid displays....it's just my (moronic) assessment of him.....oh and the book he wrote talking about how much he wanted to leave Milan since 2006! Then again the fact that he once again came to life at Juve kinda throws egg on my face right?

What better coach was even rumoured to be available last Summer after Conte left? Because i'd take a Klopp or a Simeone , but would they take us? Up until now, they have had no reason to want to come here.

Who knows, maybe Klopp would be a possibility if he feels he's done all he can with the ever declining (Due to sales) Dortmund squad. But Allegri was almost certainly the best option for us when Conte bailed.

As for other 'top' coaches, i'm assuming they'd almost all want more of a budget and wage than we're prepared to offer/promise them.

Dortmund's collapse isn't down to playersales. They sold lewandowski not diego maradona. He also bought two strikers that came off of good seasons that he wanted badly. The decline that would be justified is one where they are a distant second or at worst a third placed team in the bundesliga. Klopp fucked up bad this season and is now trying to redeem himself. I like him and I hope he succeeds at doing so but that doesn't mean he didn't screw up badly.

If we lose Pirlo and Tevez for whatever reason and become relegation battlers I'd come after allegri with an axe.

Allegri is not clearly better than Mancini at all. Mancini has won an awful lot of trophies you know.


And just before you write up an awful long post about how Mancini always had a lot of resources to win those trophies and that competition was lacking when he was at Inter. The same applies for Allegri at Milan and here only Mancini did this more often and in various countries. None of them are brilliant or exceptional in any manner but they are both reliable coaches.

Conte: My Juventus would have more points right now

Antonio Conte is happy to see his former club Juventus doing well this season, though he feels the team would be leading the league by a lot more points if he were still the coach of it.

The 45-year-old had led the Bianconeri to a record finish during the 2013/14 campaign before resigning from his position, which saw the Turin giants earn a Serie A record of 102 points, and he believes that the team could still be doing better in the league despite their continued dominance.

Conte spoke to the press after receiving his third straight Panchina d’Oro award about Juve’s quality this season and commented on the unfortunate situation at Parma.

“I can say that I expected this season to be a tough one,” said the former Juventus coach.

“If this Juventus had the same attitude as my Juve then they would probably have much more points right now and would be leading the league by at least 20 points.

“The strength and ability of Juve shows that they are very deserving of their supremacy in the Serie A, they’re proving that they have something more than the other teams.

“The crisis at Parma? It should not have gotten this bad, I hope that this misfortune can be turned around into something good.”
