berardi, el sharawy, cerci, etc etc..
still use 3-5-2.
also.zaza and gio is fast too.

and again, he were the one who didnt want to use morata and pereyra.
he rejected them.

and now you said marotta didnt give him a pacey player to play counter attack. systems.
Cerci in the national team... he has been a nomad for over a year now  el shwarma has been on and off with injuries for years again. As i said it doesnt really stretch beyond zaza and giovinco so i dont see how its Conte's fault.

Ironically prandelli tried and tested the 4-3-1-2 and 4-3-3 with Italy and looked terrible whilst I can recall members of this forum hoping that Italy would switch to a 3-5-2 or similar as it suited them better, namely when Italy played Spain

People are still complaining :touched: This forum never ceases to amaze me.
I don't really understand why.

Had it also not been for Chiellio's Skii legs, Allegri and the team IMO were 95% close to qualification.

Never said weak tactics, what I mean with pussy tactics is the non-willingness to attack, press and score more goals but rather conserve and protect yourself from conceding.
I haven't followed up with your posts, I'm not sure if you're referring to this match, but if you are I'd say that Juve should have easily scored the 3rd goal, the attach was there the finishing was poor though.

We attacked plenty in the match. We really need to get better at our end product on counters. We wasted some really good chances surging forward which means we also left ourselves vulnerable. I say we did a pretty good job attacking but as Rab says we should have done better in front of goal.

That was his plan. Give your adversary the ball but allow them to do nothing with it. Press? Against Borussia? Talk about suicide. I'll tell you this, the ONLY way to get further in the CL with the team we have is that way.

Sit deep, let the adversary have possession and use the pace of our strikers in counter attacks as ways to find goals. It's not pussy, it's what needs to be done. And by my counts we missed quite a few good chances, minus Chiellini fuck up we'd have had a nice win and without the need to take big risks.

Look, Allegri did the right approach. However he still should have benched Pirlo and started Pereyra to play wide on the field, allowing Marchisio to beast as a DM and Vidal to suck less as a CM.

Also let's remember that the team's performance in the first half was actually horrible until we scored the 2nd goal. But this seemed to be more of a mental thing. Guys recovered trust in themselves after the 2nd goal and played with authority in the 2nd half.

But mainly, it is not a coincidence that the team improved so much with Pirlo out, even though he was playing decently.

Allegri got bailed by luck in there, even though the team was correctly positioned in the field with the starting 11 he put in.

I mentioned in the match thread that I liked what I saw, we sat deep and allowed Dortmund possession but at the same time we did not let them create, our defensive plan was really well deployed but when we let a goal in things got complicated and we had to go for a goal.
