 I seriously don't believe you, you would keep allegri over someone like ancelotti? damn

adapt his tactics? he's been using this system almost in the same way Conte used 3-5-2 and in the rare occassion 4-3-3 just as Conte did
Did u not see how we played today? He set the team up to exploit the space Dortmund would inevitably leave behind them when applying pressure to us. We played with lots of pace with Morata and Tevez in behind and it worked very well. I have never seen us play like that and we had a game plan and executed it very well.

Seriously lets not get ahead of ourselves here, allegri played his cards almost right but he is by no means a tactical God or a world class manager for that matter. It is only half time in this tie anything can happen in the 2nd leg we are by no means safe if anything 2-1 is a dangerous score line to take to their ground, allegri for all we know might play for the draw in the 2nd leg which would be even more dangerous and somewhat unsurprising. I'm sure if that was the case opinions of him would differ

Max got a lot right in this game. Set up our team to neutralise Dortmund - that was surely their only real chance in the whole game and it came from a Chiellini slip - while setting us up well for good use of our possession and on counters as well. Both our goals came from counter attacks and it was very refreshing to see.

Good stuff EuroMaXX

like who? zaza and giovinco is about as pacey as it gets when it comes to Italian forwards
berardi, el sharawy, cerci, etc etc..
still use 3-5-2.
also.zaza and gio is fast too.

and again, he were the one who didnt want to use morata and pereyra.
he rejected them.

and now you said marotta didnt give him a pacey player to play counter attack. systems.

Amusing how many seem surprised with allegri tactics, he has done that like 6 times a row against barca with a rather weak milan side, kinda obvious, but yeah on this matter he does it better than conte

His defensive tactics were almost flawless. Very organized and collective like, the back 4 worked together at almost all times. I'm starting to believe we stand a chance of surprising everybody and going much further than expected.

At matches like this you see why he's better than Conte ever was. Keep it up, boss!
Oh yeah...

I have to say I am positively surprised with how well allegri is captaining this ship. I thought the pressure of succeeding Conte would get to him but he managed that pretty well. Look at how Inter and Chelsea suffered after mourinho left or United suffered after Fergie or even liverpool with Benitez. He wasn't even a popular hiring when he first came here and so he would have never been given the kind of patience, Moyes and van gaal , Benitez with inter, Scolari with chelsea got.

Bravo Allegri.
