ah.... truth is we needed to revolution our team
Sell the likes
Chiellini 30
Bonucci 20
Lichsteiner 14
Llorente 20

To get enough to buy fresh players. But sadly Marotta isn't good at selling players >_<
Lot of our players are 30+
Buffon,Barzagli,Lichsteiner,Evra,Pirlo
Some aready hit the 30 bar : Tevez,Chiellini,Pepe,Padoin.
I know it's unpopular but in the long run it would be bettere to sell some players such as Chiellini and Llorente now to get fresh&good young champions.
Some players like Barzagli,Tevez,Lichsteiner,Evra and Pirlo are still needed the biggest problem is that those players are all starters.
In a XI you shoudn't have more than 3 over 30. They're prone to injury and can offer less phisically speaking.
Look at teams such as Real and Barcellona they have an average of 24-25.
Real has 5 30+ players and 2 of them are the goalkeepers.
Plus why they have a 23 players team while we hold 31!!!

We should really improve in some aspects and sadly Marotta lacks in some managment areas.

or maybe he can sell but he doesent want to because thats 4/11 of our starting XI and it would be stupid to make such drastic changes now. if you look at the players we sold and you can see that he was selling rather good this summer. also, even if he is not perfect, he has done an amazing job to put this team together with limited money and he is continuing to strengthen it every summer. i also like that he is lowering the overall age of the team with the young players he signs...

look, our team isnt that old, except for a few players that keep the percentage high. Vidal, Bonucci, Caceres, Asamoah, Ogbonna, Romulo(?) are all entering their best years and can play at this level for 5-6 years together. there is also the group of younger players with Pogba, Coman, Berardi and Morata that could carry the team for years. i agree that we will have to replace some key players soon. Buffon, Barzagli, Pirlo, Tevez, Evra might all leave by the end of the 2016 season while there is a high possibility some more important players might be gone by then (Chiellini, Licht, Llorente...), but our management is doing a good job, and they are already acquiring possible replacements by making smart investments and taking some great opportunities on the market (like Coman, Morata, Pereyra, Rabiot (hopefully), Pogba and Berardi before etc.) and they will continue to do so in the coming years which is a great thing. replacing 4 champions in each line like we have in Gigi, Barza, Pirlo and Tevez is never easy, even if we get good enough replacements there is no guarantee they will be able to replace those 4 adequately, so we should keep on what we are doing, adding young and talented players and hope they have an impact. because thats the best way there is to go forward...

I get it but reality is that 7/11 are 30+ and that ain't a good thing.
Buffon,Barzagli,Chiellini,Evra,Lichsteiner,Tevez and Pirlo. With Llorente being 29yrs old.

That what Conte wanted. A revolution a fresh start with fresh players. And he got sacked or left by himself after being told it wont be done.
