Because they can afford to? It's a bit of a rhetorical question.

Honestly, we don't know where there money is coming from, the US?
I get the part about not giving agent any say or money but the other part about where the roma was getting that money from.

Who ever that is they seem to be ready to make less profit form club unlike our orangutan.

See that's an example of how misleading statistics can be

We beat the mighty Celtic twice and that's it as far as the CL goes

Europa league? As soon as a club like Juve enter that we're a laughing stock. I'm sure if Allegri had a crack at the EL with Ibra, Silva and Nesta he'd have quite a few wins himself.

It's crazy, but giving it some time I have weird sense of optimism about this season. Not because of allegri, but because there is a lot of stuff that remains unknown now, i.e transfers, formations, morale etc. I wouldn't call it excitement, but I'm interested to see how it will all pan out.
it's either that or suicide

Same. But on my end it's more of a delusion tbh. I'm really hoping Di Matteo-like run in Europe.

One aspect of the manager. And I'm inclined to agree with that. Not that Allegri is great, but that Conte was terrible in Cups. Apart from the one season where we went down to bayern we were pathetic almost every year. The whole aproach in Coppa or CL or even EL was really bad.

As who I would choose it's not even a thought it's Conte, he's superior in almost every way. Even if his Cup performences were not really special I would still would rather have Conte then Allegri.

so lets ignore the great season in CL and judge him on the bad one?

I'm sure Conte has one of the highest win percentages out of the big 4 leagues in the last 50 years or so, he must be one of the very best managers that's ever graced football then? Right?

Win percentage

Please tell me how 4/4 group stage successes is massively inferior to 1/2. I don't really care about how we managed to get 2 wins and 2 draws in 4 games against Danish opposition, I'd rather qualify from the group stages because unimportant win percentages don't get you extra revenue apparantly. Shame that.
how that has anything to do with what we are talking about i dont know, but ill take it as you not being able to counter the obvious, you were wrong, it;s ok, it happens

you claiming it as misleading does not make it misleading. he couldn't even get past tottenham with ibra, silva, pirlo, nesta, seedorf etc... he did awful in the knockouts.

Sorry, I still cannot get my head around this appointment. Seems too sudden for my liking. What thought was involved exactly in hiring Allegri?? Easy option? ......possibly.

He's just a puppet.
