I just want to put this out there. I have been very emotional over this subject. Conte broke my heart and betrayed the club I love. I am not a proponent of allegri but I will support him now because he's here and Conte whom I had all the faith and trust in has abandoned us. If I offended anyone I apologize. Be it badass, jack or anyone else

liverpool wanted him but he rejected them, psg have no need for a player like sanchez, neither does madrid, man utd as well since they are over stocked with attacking forwards

and because Barca were desperate to fund their big move for suarez, they probably miscalculated the success sanchez would have at the wc hence bumping his price up
How do you know that it was an impulse buy?

What, they just turned on the TV during the world cup and said "Hey, who's this Sanchez cat? Let's get him."

How do you know that they were not showing interest beforehand? You mean to tell me that prior to the WOrld CUp, Arsenal would have had no interest in Sanchez, as if they have no scouting network whatsoever? Did anyone think that Ozil was going to join them last year? What foreshadowing did anyone have about that transfer? None. Say what you will about arsenal, but they don't make their transfer desires public.

We put in a starting bid of 8million ?

That's madness, why not start at 5 just to test the water?

In fact I'm sure we did, that goal.com can't be trusted I think :boh:
What date is our first friendly?

Or when will Allegri start training the team?

Really curious what formation he will use. 4-3-1-2? 4-1-3-2?

------------Buffon-----------
----Barzagli---Chiello---------
Licht-------------------Caceres/ogbonna/evra/asamoah
----------Pirlo-------------
---Vidal--Pogba-----Asamoah/Marchiso
----------------------------------
-------Tevez---Llorente---------

I mean, it wouldn't be awful. Not much width is the problem.

Another great source

Anyway, I knew about that, I was just joking about goal.com. However, that's a nice move for my FUT in FIFA 14. Unfortunately in football, and in real life, there are other factors to be considered.

You'll notice that Iturbe is going to Roma for 22MLN+bonuses, apparently (I'm not even sure abot that, had other stuff to do today). You'll understand alone that then, the 27/28 MLN of our offer were total bullshit. Our last credible offer was 22MLN+Quagliarella. More or less, the same amount we offered for Sanchez. And we could NOT offer more, given that we have to spend also on a CF and probably another CM.

I heard everywhere that spending 25/27 on Iturbe was insane. (but now that we're unlikely to sign him, people acts like if we've lost Maradona ) But let's give a look at the situation. On a hand, you have a great 26 yo player, with great qualities, that can be a great addition, but you already know his ceiling, and for him Juventus might be a team like another, given his career; on the other hand, you have a very talented 21 yo player that can still explode and be the next big thing, and is very charged to go in such a big club, and has the higher potential.

I don't think it's this crazy to offer 25 milion, for who's watched Iturbe play at least.

And yes, Sanchez is worth more, but we have other operations to do, and we couldn't spend more. People'd better understand it.
