One thing I don't get, and this applies to our last few seasons too. Why do we in so many big games not even try to control the game. Look at our fucking midfield, and the fact we usually outnumber teams in MF. Why do we always sit back and concede cheap possession against somewhat big teams, we don't have the players for catenaccio or any form of sitting back. Not every team has Dortmund level mentally damaged defenders.

We sit back and keep passing it around in the back because for the third season in a row, our creativity problem has been neglected. In such games where we're pressed hard and against fast opponents, we always tend to save ourselves with a moment of magic; a free kick or a wonder goal by Pogba.

I agree, but tonight I think it had more to do with tired players.

I agree, but tonight I think it had more to do with tired players.

Yeah the same Conte who was continually humiliated in cup competitions. Great observation <insert swear word/fat description here>
i seem to recall actually reaching a coppa italia cup final under Conte, let's not even start on the supercup humiliation too once again evidence of how the team suffers badly from lapses in concentration, much like tonight and the game against dortmund etc etc...
