The goal today and against Milan were virtually identical.

There have been more than a couple of times this season that we have conceded on a corner with the ball going in at the far post. Surely we should consider having a guy on the post.

It's hard to improve our corner defending when our CBs and DM can't win a header. Maybe Chiellini can from time to time. Bonucci and Pirlo absolutely not. When you go around Europe and you take away a team's CBs and DMs, you will see how bad they are at defending corners as well. Like if you go to Chelsea and tell them to defend a corner without Cahill, Terry and Matic or to City and tell them to do it without Kompany, Mangala, Toure, etc.

The point is those positions are supposed to be your best but with us they're almost the worst. So there is little Allegri can do. You can put people on the posts but then you are losing men to challenge for the ball. When you see that we are getting beaten to the ball with no men on the post (so we have the maximum available to attack the ball), I mean what can you do aside from put 11 men on the posts because you're going to give up a header on goal anyway.
