You have to take into the account that Del Piero didn't want to be benched. He obviously wanted to play more and that's pretty certain. Both Bendner and Anelka came here to warm our bench and they almost never played.
Did he complain? I remember him being benched in 2006, when we had Ibra and Trezeuget, and I don't remember him complaining for being benched.

Del Piero did not complain at all. He was ready to sign another 1 year deal.

He did not mention how he doesn't like being benched because he's classy, but he did mention how he wants to keep playing.

I do think our staff told him how they don't expect him to get much time on the field, he wanted to play, so they both agreed it's the best thing to leave him continue his adventures on the field. Of course he left disappointed because it's a whole history behind him. But IMO it comes down to those two things: We didn't plan to keep playing him while he wanted to play and not be benched majority of the time.

I don't think that's true either. Del Piero was told in a press conference by Agnelli that he won't get a renewal.

It doesn't require balls to take off your $#@!ty players like Llorente and put on someone a bit faster and more mobile in Coman just half a brain. But he took Pogba off? I mean really? I'm not saying Pogba was at his best last night but he was effective enough to do more damage than Llorente to say the least.
True.I was also suprised seeing Pogba going out.....
