An Allegri type performance of his first spell. Tactically I thought we were good, it was quite clear the plan was to take the sting out the game and move the ball around. It was pretty comfortable for playing away in Portugal against a team needing to score.

Poor individual performances let us down in the first half but I thought they improved in the second e.g. Miretti, and we were on the front foot for a good spell at the start of the second half. I'd prefer us not to sit so deep and keep the ball better at the end but we did what we needed, which was clearly the plan.

Atleast 2nd leg was far better than the 1st leg. Could have scored a second goal if the final pass had been better.
