In case of the elimination from the Champions League, Di Maria can decide to return to Argentina immediately after the World Cup.Also he has a difficult relationship with Allegri."

What attacking player would have a good relationship with Allegri? This isn’t surprising news at all.

Spurs fan on pochittino (2017): was asked is Pochettino is good? (Based on the answer , he is what we need!!!!)

The Answer to your question can be best given by a Spurs fan!
Me being a spurs since 2009 who has been through arguably the highest levels of ups and downs of the club over the past 10 years, can tell you somewhat better.. :)
In recent history, the Premier League has boasted of some highly successful managers who have won the Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Premier League, La Liga, Champions League; indeed, a few hold more than one of these honours to their name.
But with his achievements of the present unnoticed due to his peers' achievements of the past, Mauricio Pochettino stands shoulder to shoulder with any big name coach in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are usually hailed as the best in the country, the Premier League has but that's not fair on Spurs' boss - and here's why.
  • His Trust in Youth -
Mauricio Pochettino has injected a great amount of trust into the young players who have come through the ranks. Not only has this had the effect of improving the academy, but it has helped create a hungry and high spirited side which has proved pivotal to Spurs’ success. Some of the key youth players promoted by Pochettino are - Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Oliver Skipp.
main-qimg-295b2ac9cba9bbea95766b497abc5d22-lq.jpg

  • Quality Football - We can't ignore the change in footballing quality that Mauricio Pochettino has installed since he joined Tottenham in 2014. He has installed a high press and fast paced attacking football that has become a consistent trait of the Spurs side. It is now a joy watching which was unlike the era of 2012–2014
main-qimg-4013952df9dd198118d6aafe9f1afe84-lq.jpg

  • Believe and Managing his players - Pochettino deserves huge credit for improving individual players rather than simply paying to replace them. He took over a squad in 2014 who were lacking in confidence, morale and quality, and there were a number of 'bad eggs' in the ranks too. But then he believed in them. He only wants to see the desire and hunger in his players, the rest is taken care of him.
Examples like Erik Lamela, Eric Dier, Harry Kane and the most recent example of Moussa Sissoko were all the result of Poch’s belief and management.
main-qimg-8112281ace43c6750396bc84e23957e3-lq.jpg

  • Net Spend - Spurs have currently the lowest net spend in EPL since 2014. Daniel Levy’s tight pocket has had huge impact in this scenario! When it comes to world class players at a cheaper rate Tottenham are #1 in doing so. Examples include - Christian Eriksen(12m), Toby Alderweireld (16m), Son Heung Min(25m), Dele Alli(5m), etc.
main-qimg-e3bf90e0b653c426c32a79be294795c2-lq.jpg

Since Pochettino's arrival at Tottenham in 2014, Spurs have spent £254million in transfer fees while receiving £225m to leave a net spend of £29m. Yet this has not stopped Pochettino and Spurs to compete with the big boys of EPL and making their place in UCL for the 4th time in a row(till 2019).
To add a cherry on the cake, Spurs have spent £0m in 2018–19 season due to lots of financial issues related to their new stadium. Yet, they have successfully managed to win the 4th Spot in the league, and have reached the final of UCL ! which I believe no other manager in the EPL can do….
So, to conclude I will say, YES, Pochettino is the BEST !!

You missed out on the psg stint.
what did I miss ?? that he won everything with them except for champions league?
he is known to create a system where he takes young players who are hungry to learn and develop and those with huge ego are too of a big stars don't comply to well ,he sells them ,that was his thing , neymar mbpe, messi , u can't control or teach them and guess what all the other players look and they copy their attitude... so yeah I wish we would have his "unsuccessful " stint that he had with psg... ill take it over anyday today...
this guy creates exciting attacking teams with a lot of passion heat and hunger , No one can promise it will be sucssfull , but if its a book that's what we need now, he is the man, tottheham some season could but players at all due to their finance trouble , and he was able to compete with city , liverpool and the rest of those massive eel spenders...

we have those young hungry boys , miretti fagioli novella, vlahovic, chiesa ... all we need is this guy to complete the puzzle... plus he has family in turin , and he said he would love to live i turin...

So we are losing right now and we want to fix this and stop losing by getting someone who has a very extensive track record of losing?

Juventus are topping serie A when it comes to use of newly signed players (already played 2464min). One could argue that its Allegri excuse, because he didnt have time to integrate and coach new players, but then u look at the second team on that list which is Napoli, who are on fire.

no fucking way  (it's saying that psg might fire galtier after the season ends and macs is one of the main candidates for them)

once i visited a psg match back at the beginning of the '90s, that was the last time i rooted for them lol, but forza psg this time, it would be great if they took allegri. he allegedly has a great relationship with luis campos too.

its related to Luis Campos who is big friend of Max and current sporting director of PSG. I wouldnt completely rule it out, especially since Max is destined to be sacked here sooner or later.

i don't remember him playing there at that time. it was in february '92. i was 14-15 and don't really remember their players, bats was their goalie (i knew him cause he played vs hungary at the' 86 wc), and maybe ginola was also playing there. i can't recall rai though

they won 3-0 iirc and it was a league game probably

92? Oh he was still at São Paulo then. I remember around that time they won the Libertadores and beat Barcelona at the extinct Intercontinental cup back when Brazilian teams were the shit. I’d have to Google to find out exactly when he moved to PSG but I recall him being a PSG player during the 94 WC.

Ginola :touched: now there’s a name I haven’t heard in a while.

Who has extensive track of loossing? pochittino??? lol are you comparing the epl to seria a???? are you comparing a coach that for long time couldn't even attract top players because no one wanted to come there... and you say yes they have top players like Harry , shure but he was the one who helped them develop to the top. most of the time Tottenham had no money for good transfers , or they financed it by selling thier own , when you have teams like city, Chelsea and Liverpool buying top players over 100 mil every year , its ok to loose , but they managed to be evey year in the top 4 except once...

Yes.

He's a great coach for teams who aim to be fourth.
