Him having a long and saucy contract is not his fault.

But staying in an environment where 90% of his surroundings is against him, where he killed off any cohesion or the team spirit, and where nothing (literally nothing) is working through his ideas/implementations, etc... is up to him. And the board.

If he cared about his legacy and looked to start fresh elsewhere he would be able to reach an agreement with the club regarding the payment and the termination of his contract.

But like someone else already said; he's been exposed for these past year and a half and knows this is his last big contract. No club would ever fool themselves again and give this fraud a hefty contract like Juve did.

-----> This is Allegri, after he sees his bank account he goes to do whatever makes him happy, swimming in a jello pool, banging x number of people, eating a 100k wagyu beef etc.

I feel you, but this guy wont go legacy or otherwise, will have to be forced to, because even failing he will get rewarded, he is in a total win-win position no matter what.

Scraps? Start from zero?

I know you're not a Juventus fan but you can't be that far into your Bundesliga bubble.

S Tier
- RW Federico Chiesa
- CF Dusan Vlahovic

A Tier
- CB Bremer
- DM Leandro Paredes
- CM Paul Pogba
- CM Fabio Miretti
- RW Angel Di Maria

B Tier
- RB Danilo
- LM Filip Kostic
- CF Arkadiusz Milik

C Tier
- GK Wojciech Szczesny
- GK Mattia Perin
- CB Federico Gatti
- CM Adrien Rabiot
- CM Manuel Locatelli
- CM Nicolo Fagioli

D Tier

- CB Daniele Rugani
- RB Juan Cuadrado
- CM Weston McKennie
- RW Matias Soule
- CF Moise Kean
- CF Kaio Jorge

F Tier
- LB Alex Sandro
- LB Mattia De Sciglio

Far too much talent C Tier and below but the squad isn't complete trash and scraps.

But I also agree I don't know if he takes on this squad already started into the season and built for another manager.
You are generous, I would rate them this way.

You didn't answer my question. With the bolded part in mind, would you resign?

Needs to resign at this point. Embarrassing.
He won't. You know why? Because he's a self-absorbed stubborn shitcunt, and there's also the possibility of losing out on all that income. It's not surprising when the entire board and management, led by the insufferable narcissist Pube Faced Unibrow L'Incompetente himself are so far deep into their own assholes they can literally smell the shit but refuse to acknowledge anything or act on the situation. We're a joke now, and the fans are the punch line.

Maybe if the management aren't as delusional or as stubborn as Failegri himself, they can come to some sort of compromise - perhaps offering him a juicy severance package to kindly just fuck off.

We all have our opinions, both our tiers were close.

I don't think Locatelli is as bad as C tier unless played out of position. Just like I don't think Gatti is D tier. He's been more dependable defensively than Rugani and Bonucci and he's still so young/raw.

Point is, our squad has (even by your estimates) 5-7 B Tier players or better. That's not scraps.

Cuadrado our best player last season, now Faggy, Miretti, Kostic, Milik etc better players :marc:

Miretti and Faggy both in D or F in my opinion. I think they will turn out as decent Lazio players one day, at max. Hope Im wrong.

Chiesa with 15 games for us and 4 goals last season. +9 months sidelined, I wouldnt put him as top tier.

Lets be honest, your squad in its current state is not remotely close to what he was working with in Madrid.

Scraps was maybe a harsh word, but I think you get what I mean. There’s quality, but imo its relatively far between, your squad has regressed by a big margin the last 3 years.

Unfortunately, at some point it must be admitted that whatever this is its not working.

We have (on paper, that dreaded paper) a top 3 squad in Italy. We should be dominating all of the Serie A sides except Milan, Inter, and maybe Napoli. Like positively dominating them. Suffocating pressing, dominating the chances, having to stop ourselves from winning 6-0 or 6-1.

Clearly this is not happening. Bring in Zidane and let him form the squad he wants. Allegri has lost the locker room and has lost the players confidence.
Zizou is a pipe dream, unfortunately. It’s clear that he has his mind set on a different project. I wouldn’t mind other alternatives but it looks like getting rid of Allegri is a problem of its own, supposedly for financial reasons or that’s what they want to us to believe at least.

Most players are way better than they’re portrayed in these lists. Cuadrado, Bonucci, Tek- to a extend Kean, McKennie, Sandro etc are all massively underperforming.

But this is what you get when you can’t keep a squad fit and if you compliment the guys for having a good performance with 2 shots on goal after 90 minutes.

Sometimes I’m so baffled by the differences in ideologies. I grew up with both Italian and Dutch football. The differences couldn’t bigger. For a long time I always believed more in the Italian approach but it has been outdated for years.

Believe it or not many here criticised Van Marwijk in 2010 when The Netherlands reached the WC final, because the kind of football they played was to static/boring/defensive. Or in general the idea of having experienced players weights a lot less. Compare that to the general idea at this club.

Obviously Italy has 4 WC’s compared to 0 of the Netherlands, but Allegri as he always says it just a old school manager who values things that were relevant in the early 00’s over things that are relevant today.

Even having physically strong players like Allegri loves has his roots going back to years where many of us weren’t even born.

Its no surprise that McKennie plays over Fagioli. Someone like Verratti wouldn’t play under Allegri either. Imagine Del Piero as a 19 y/o going troughs the ranks of this club with Allegri as his trainer. He’d be benched by Milik due to his physicality

It’s easy finding almost 10 good points that are going wrong here without cherry picking

Yeah, like he preferred Zaza to Dybala, never played Pjanić or Cuadrado, El Shaarawy, Miretti etc.

There is plenty to criticize Allegri for without inventing things ffs
