I really hope the team comes through big today so Max can forget about Paredes. After reading lots of posts here agree with LB appears to be a bigger need. Some say Kostic can play further back but really never has played that position.

I don't know what position Kostic has played, but he seems perfect for playing on the left in a 3-5-2 situation. Fast, physical and good crosses. But we'll see soon enough I guess. I find it strange that we offloaded Pellegrini if Kostic can't play further back.

Honestly, I can't say anything even remotely negative about Allegri today. When things weren't going well 20 minutes in, Max adapted quickly and made prudent changes, moving towards the preferred 4-3-3. That allowed us to press forward more and grab the goals. We also looked relatively in good shape physically and didn't seem like conceding after the goals. And finally, Max even brought in the kids which was fantastic to see. Night and day start compared to last season. Kudos to the manager.
