The negative: out finishing is atrocious and our forwards look like little children at times. Last time it was this bad was Conte's first year when we used to have 25 shots a game and 0 goals scored.
But back then we had a midfield which couldn't stop scoring and assisting. In 2012/13, Vidal, Marchisio, Pirlo and Pogba scored 33 goals and made 26 assists. So far Rabiot, McKennie, Bentancur and Locatelli have 4 goals and 6 assists, and it's almost half-season.
We got used to having top goalscorers. Tevez, Higuain and Ronaldo always scored 20+ or 30+ goals in one season. Season 2015/16 was the only one after 2013/14 when we didn't have a goal-machine like these three, but Dybala was always available and had a magnificent season. Nowdays Dybala is either injured or has to do the playmaking, and there is nobody left to score the goals.
There should be no wonder if this ends up to be our worst season in the last decade and the first time we won't make the CL.
As a matter of fact, the way the numbers are going so far, this looks awfully similar to season 2010/11 when we ended up 7th, when our topscorer Del Piero had 11 goals, and our midfield (Marchisio, Aqualani, Felipe Melo, Sissoko) finished the season with 7 goals and 10 assists.
