If we had inform strikers this would change the whole game. First it will boost our confidence when we score, second it will give us even more opportunities to score because the other team will have to open up and this will lead to even more goals.

Morata is a huge problem right now, perhaps even bigger than the midfield.
Obviously we had to replace Ronaldo goals with somebody stepping up Morata Chiesa and Dybala not being clinical in front of the goal is hurting us

This one is simple to solve though: drop him.

I'm afraid that both Kaio and Kean are probably not good enough too.
There is no depth in our squad we have Rugani at the back as Chiellini can't play 50 percent of the games Locatelli has no substitute at the moment and at the top we have Morata Kean kaio and compare it to inter striker lautaro Dzeko correa and alexis sanchez

Don’t start either of them until it becomes clear that they have product coming in off the bench.

We attack goal bad enough with a ST that we may as well play without a ST imo. It can’t make our ability to pass the ball and build up play creatively around the final third any worse.

And rabiot is there to win the headers

I'm not against being a defensively minded team because I firmly believe that you need to be extremely strong defensively before you focus on offense but I'm not seeing any type of development on offense at all which worries me.

I think this is two fold really, we’ve got a lot of hold in this team - our left hand side is not a threat and we have no creativity in the centre. All our creative elements are lopsided onto the right hand side.

Add into that our starting striker is a complete waste of space whenever he isn’t offside and really we don’t have a very high ceiling for attacking potential.

Right now the approach that will win us games is grafting hard and staying concentrated and solid at the back. We should have enough star power to score a goal a game and if we shut teams out we should win. We don’t have the players to be adventurous

And also Morata if need be. Didn't Mancini sub out Ciro and didn't even put in Belotti a few times for Italy? Of course Italy had a strong midfield but like you stated, it can't get any worse. During his subpar play Morata has become the ultimate crybaby out there and I dislike it.
