The fact that Allegri seriously thought and maybe still thinks the squad is good enough is disturbing.
Not sure if he did think its good enough tbf because he's not been appointed to win things or to conduct an overhaul- he's been appointed because Agnelli's the only person on the planet for whom he'd be a puppet and AA knows it

Max is a good fit for Juve and we know that, we’re not going to sack him when clearly another coach won’t do any better. This is a point blank rebuild job that is needed now. We are better off doing that with max.

Sir Alex Ferguson wouldn’t even be able to make the bums in our squad competent footballers. It’s going to take us years to get back to the top in Italy. Europe we can forget about for another decade
Sir Alex Ferguson is the reason for Manchester United's downfall

Just dont play Bentancur and Rabiot together, one of them is enough. Play Danilo or Berna in mid or half fit Loca or that kid Fagioli, but I have serious allergy towards the combo of Bentancur and Rabiot. One of them in the lineup is fine, two is almost a guaranteed shitshow

Told the club not to sign Donna and now wants Pjanic.

Allegri with more power turning out to be like worst of Simeone's transfer decisions.

Needed to stick to coaching.

Oh I forgot, contributed to Ronaldo leaving within just one matchday because of failed "tactics" or "technical decision" vs the mighty Udinese

Early signs of a very worrying trend forming re transfer "powers"

What Allegri needs to do fairly quickly is work out a formation he wants to drill into this team and get it trained into them like they are dummies.

Enough with these experiments, we need to learn a system and master it, the tinkering isn’t helping. All the other teams that have appointed new managers have started well, I really think the problem here is the squad has been so poorly built Allegri doesn’t quite understand what his best 11 or best system actually is
